Joseph A. DiFalco, 86, of North Versailles, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024.  He was born March 22, 1937 in Clairton and was the son of the late Domenick and Josephine (DaBaldo) DiFalco. He was the husband of 57 years to the late Shirley Mae (Paul) DiFalco, who passed away December 14, 2017. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish (St. Robert Bellarmine site) and was a part of The Men's Club and organized many oldies dances there. Joseph was a US Army Veteran and was a part of the 46th Medical Batallion, 4th Division.  He was manager of the former Richman Brother's Clothing store and would later work at JC Penny in Monroeville.  Music played a vital part of Joseph's life. He was an accomplished singer in his younger years, he loved to perform, sing and dance, and more recently was a member of The Streetlights Doo Wop Group.  The radio or record player were always on.  He loved to travel, especially to the beach and hang out and spend time with his family, friends and neighbors.  Joseph loved his family, and was the #1 fan of all his grandchildren during all their sporting events growing up.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph P. DiFalco and Robert (Claire) DiFalco; grandchildren, Erin, Domenick and Anthony; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ellen Julian and Anna Pastore. He is joined by his sister, Alberta Julian, who passed away February 6, 2024.  Friends are welcome on Wednesday, February 7, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Mary, Mother of God, St. Robert Bellarmine Church on Thursday February 8, 2024 at 10:00 am.
