Anita "Nina" Cindrich, 65, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born November 9, 1958 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Chester W. and Miriam A. (Karstunew) Zalewski. Nina was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and was a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years. She worked for Atria Senior Living and South Western Nursing as an Activities Instructor.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew J. (Leighann) Cindrich of Herminie, Joseph B. (Amber) Cindrich, John D. (Jennifer) Cindrich, and Michael D. Cindrich of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Jenna (Cameron) Conley, Haley Rhodes and Taylor Cindrich; great-grandchildren, Logan, Hunter and Lucy Conley; brothers, Chester Zalewski of Peters Township and David Zalewski of Washington, sister, Carmella Yuhas of West Newton, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Lillian Jo Conley, brother, Bill Zalewski and her former husband, Joseph Cindrich. Friends are welcome Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000  Drew J.
