Gerald “Jerry” K. Klein, age 73, of North Versailles, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. He was born October 5, 1951 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Anthony and Beulah (Berg) Klein. He was a long-time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Versailles. He worked as a machinist at Wabco in Wilmerding for 13 years and then went to work for the next 26 years in assembly for Philips Respironics in Murrysville where he met his wife. He enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing, camping and cooking. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Grace (John) Thomas, Kathryn (Harold) Watt, Carolyn (William) Voithofer and Rebecca Krezan.

He is survived by his wife of over 34 years together Barbara R. (Haraburda) Klein; children Fred (Amanda) Klein of Ohio, Jeannine (Jeff) Smith of Horsham, Cori (Daniel) McAndrew of North Versailles and Jessica (Michael) Kroner of Bethel Park; grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Riley, Payton, Gavin, Mason and Brinley; Brother Larry (April) Klein of North Versailles; sisters Barbara Klein of North Huntingdon and Beverly (Gregory) Magiera of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10th at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Versailles.
