Dolores "Dee" Veychek, age 87 of North Huntingdon, passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1937 in Rankin, a daughter of the late Joseph Sullivan and Helen Barlas Sullivan. Dee was a graduate of Rankin High School in the Class of 1954, and a member of St. Agnes Church where she sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Dee was an artist, and she was an all-around animal lover. Most of all, she cherished her role as a homemaker and loved the time she spent with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leo Veychek. She is survived by two sons Michael Veychek (wife Susan), and Joseph Veychek (wife Sharon), three daughters Diane Tyger (husband Russell), Mary Fiume (husband Daniel), and Helen Holman (husband Robert), one brother Tom Sullivan (wife Nina), twelve grandchildren Ashley,  Nicholas, Lauren, Brandon, Casey, Evan, Nicky, Emily, Abigail, Joshua, Alexis,  Leah, and four great-grandchildren Olivia, Noah, Jacob, and Isaac. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Tuesday, May 27, from 4-7 PM. A funeral Mass will take place in St. Agnes Church on Wednesday, May 28 at 10 AM.
