Adrienne Schonhardt, age 86, of Liberty Boro, died July 13, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital. Born August 9, 1938, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Backstrom) Hocko and the wife of the late James Schonhardt.A dedicated homemaker, Adrienne was renowned for her amazing cooking skills, filling her home with delicious aromas that brought comfort and joy to her family. She had a gift for sewing, spending countless hours as a seamstress making clothing for her children, including memorable maxi skirts and skorts. Her passion for creativity extended to crocheting, as she lovingly created beautiful afghans that warmed both body and spirit for her entire family.
Adrienne was not only a nurturing mother, but also a vibrant spirit who loved life. Her feisty personality, fearlessness in speaking her mind, and sense of humor made every family gathering memorable, often over board games and lively conversations. She enjoyed gambling and her outings to the casino, never turning down a chance to play. She also enjoyed playing video games. Adrienne spent countless evenings captivated by paranormal TV shows. She enjoyed sharing her interests with loved ones.

Most importantly, Adrienne cherished her family above all else. Her seven children always came first, and she delighted in caring for her grandchildren, showering them with love and making memories that will last a lifetime. She was a loving, caring, and understanding mother. She shared a deep bond with her husband, creating a partnership built on respect, support, and endless love. Adrienne is survived by her children, Bruce Raible, Kevin Raible, Sandra Dansak, Mechelle (Timothy) Maloney, and Mary Sharpe; grandchildren, Becky (Jake), Shane, Holly, Christopher, Chelsea, Ross (Erica), James (Brad), Timmy, Blake, and Nikki (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Ross Jr., Mila, Olivia, Jordan, Baylee, J.J., and Jonah; and her beloved dog, Rocky. Adrienne was preceded in death by her children, David Raible and Cynthia Weimer; and her brother, Robert Hocko.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, July 19, 2025, beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
