Louis W. "Butch" Garancsi, age 65, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2025. Born May 26, 1960, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Louis A. and Helen "Cookie" (Kondrosky) Garancsi and husband of Geneine Dellapenna.

Butch lived a life of service, exemplifying dedication through his various roles in emergency medical care, including his tenure as the Chief of the McKeesport Ambulance Rescue Service and later as a dispatcher and Supervisor/EMT for Priority One EMS. His commitment to helping others was unmatched, and he was a source of comfort and strength for countless individuals in their moments of need. He enjoyed working at local fairs for Dells Dessert Hut which was owned and operated by his family.

He was a man who truly had a passion for his family, and above all else, took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He poured his heart into every relationship, ensuring that those he loved felt valued and appreciated. His warmth and kindness will always be remembered. His passion for helping others and sense of duty were evident in everything he did.

In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by his children, Jon Dellapenna, Nicole Garancsi, and Cody Garansci; and his grandchildren, Arabella Dellapenna and Santino Dellapenna. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister who died at birth.
