Dean Almon Finfinger, Jr., 76, of White Oak passed away at home on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born March 19, 1949 in El Paso, TX and was the son of the late Dean Almon, Sr. and Mary Jane (Lewis) Finfinger. He was the loving husband of 52 years to his wife, Patricia (Gall) Finfinger. He recieved a Bachelor's in Education from California University of Pennsylvania, where he went on to teach shop class at Elizabeth Forward. He later worked for Eastmen Chemical Company in West Elizabeth as a Instrument Technician until his retirement. If you knew Dean, you loved him. He had a wonderful light about him that was infectious. His favorite saying was "it's all about the connections", and he lived by it. He knew people everywhere he went. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren. Baseball holds a special place in his heart along with our entire Marauder Baseball family. He had a love for muscle cars, especially corvettes. He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Corvette Club. Dean was his family's real life superman. He never lost his positive attitude and always made others laugh. He will be greatly missed by all of the people who loved him.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Kristen (Darin) Whitesel of Mifflintown and Kellie (Jon) Champ of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Jaxson and Bella Champ, Kennedi, Xane and Mariska Whitesel; brother Gerald (Diane) Finfinger of Venice, FL; nieces, LeeAnne (Paul) Finfinger of Venice, FL and Shannon Butler of North Huntingdon; sister-in-law, Deborah Butler of North Huntingdon; and his honorary grandsons from the Marauder Baseball Team. Friends are welcome on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director.
