William R. Siebert, age 79 of North Huntingdon, passed away on January 16, 2026. He was born on December 12, 1946 in Natrona Heights, a son of the late William Siebert and Evelyn Powell Siebert. Bill was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church where he was Clerk of Sessions for many years. He taught Adult Sunday School classes and was a role model for the youth. He was a graduate of New Kensington High School in the Class of 1964. Bill earned his bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College in Easton, and his master's Degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He fulfilled a career as a metallurgical engineer at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin. Bill was also an instructor at the Dog Owner's Training Club in Lynchburg, Virginia. In his free time, he enjoyed camping and hunting with his dogs. Bill cherished the time he spent travelling to the U.K., Scotland, and Wales. He always looked forward to attending his grandchildren's sporting events and activities. He was a man of faith who was humble, kind, and always smiling. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Marion Williams Siebert, one daughter, Blythe Schneck, son-in-law Mark Schneck, and three grandchildren, Savannah Rae, Tanner Joshua, and Gabriella Rose. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will take place in New Hope Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 10 AM. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Westmoreland Memorial Park in Greensburg.
