David D. Kutzfar, age 83, of North Versailles, died at home on February 1, 2026. Born July 29, 1942, in West Mifflin, he was the son of the late Louis and Dorothy (Holmstrom) Kutzfar and the husband of Sandra "Dolly" (Suckfiel) Kutzfar.
David's professional journey was shaped by his years of service at US Steel Homestead Works and later AT&T. He was a former member of the 11th Ward Club. A proud veteran, David served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Willard Keith. His experiences during those formative years instilled in him a lifelong sense of camaraderie, as he remained an active member of the USS Willard Keith Men's Reunion Association.
He had a profound love for animals and cherished every moment spent fishing with his family, embracing the tranquility and connection that nature provided. Quiet evenings would often find him engrossed in the news or enjoying episodes of Judge Judy, reflecting his keen interest in the world around him. David also loved cheering for his beloved Pittsburgh Steeler Team.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Chris) Martin, and a grandson, Christopher "Skip" Martin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kutzfar.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
