Shirley H. Lang, age 91, of Hamilton Township, NJ, formerly of White Oak, passed away on February 14, 2026, at Serenity Hospice Care in New Jersey. Born June 27, 1934, in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late William and Marcella (Dominici) Blotzer and the wife of the late John M. Lang, Sr.
Shirley's journey was one of love and dedication. After raising her family, she enjoyed a fulfilling chapter as a dedicated member of the workforce at the Community College of Allegheny County. A woman of immense talent and grace, she shared her passion for music as a member of the choir at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, where her voice lifted the spirits of many.
In her leisure time, Shirley found joy in antiquing and gardening, activities through which she expressed her creativity and appreciation for beauty. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
She is survived by her children, John M. (Marie Noelle Sayan) Lang Jr., Daniel J. (Noako) Lang, Christine (John Gluscic) Lang, Roberta Lang, Sandy (James) Lang-Anderson; daughter-in-law, Laura Lang; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kylie Lang-Gluscic; brothers, William, John, Robert, Richard, and Daniel Blotzer.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church.
