Janet J. Brannon, age 88, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Park Baptist Church in Versailles. She loved being in her garden, being creative making crafts, and working with her hands. Born November 28, 1937 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Thompson and wife of the late Donald L. Brannon, who passed away in 2022. She is survived by her children, Don Brannon of Lincoln Borough, Tammy (the late Russell) Forsythe of Lincoln Borough, Pamela Delsignore of Apollo and Janet (Richard) Gabonay of West Newton; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Dolly Stewart of Hermine; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by many siblings. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Daniel Bach officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
