Raymond J. Petruski, 83, of North Huntingdon,  passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018.  He was born November 15, 1934 in Duquesne, son of the late Andrew and Eleanor (Novak) Petruski.

 Prior to his retirement, Raymond was a carpenter and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Stewartsville Lions Club, and Christ United Methodist Church of North Huntingdon.  He was a former member of the Penns Woods United Methodist Church where he served as a trustee, usher and helped build the church.  Ray and his wife, Kay attended weekend Christian retreats.  Ray's passion was making country crafts in his home workshop and he liked to donate many of his crafts to local charities, family members and friends.  He also enjoyed golfing and playing pool.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Kay C. (Porter) Petruski.  He is survived by his two sons, Jeff Petruski and Gary Petruski;  daughter, Melanie Forbes and her husband, William;  three grandchildren, Kari and Robert Petruski, Ashley Forbes; brother, Thomas (Judy) Petruski; and sister, Mary (Ralph) Sita.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Monday, May 7 from 6-7 p.m.  A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stewartsville Lions Club in memory of Raymond.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
