William Dennis “Chink” Hansen, age 60, of McKeesport, died May 10, 2018 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born May 16, 1957, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Christ “Swede” and Ethel J. (Clark) Hansen.

Earlier in life, William loved to hunt and be at his camp in the mountains.  He was an avid reader about the outdoors and his favorite musical groups, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.   Pitching horseshoes with his friends was one of William’s favorite pastimes.

He was a former employee of Book Country Clearing House and U.S. Steel.

William is survived by sisters, Thelma (Robert, Jr.) Hansen-Musser of Brandenton, FL, Terri (Martin) Reott of North Versailles, Dagmar Oglesby of Eighty-Four, Loretta Hansen of White Oak and Diane Hansen of North Versailles and brother, Kristian Hansen of Manassas, VA; his pet cat, Lucy; nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Charles Robert “Bob” Oglesby and nephew, Matthew Gazdich.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 8 p.m.
