Elizabeth "Betty" S. Darragh Valenti, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Excela Health Westmoreland.

 She was born December 8, 1934 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Earl and Jeanette (Jones) Kessel.  Prior to her retirement, Betty worked in the glass plant industry and was a waitress.  She was a member of Circleville Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Immaculate Conception Church and volunteered for Jim Casorio for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Darragh; brother, Earl Kessel Jr.; and longtime friend, Sara A. Petrosky.  She is survived by her second husband, Bruno Valenti; sons, Robert James Darragh and his wife, Eleanor, Terry Darragh and his wife, Kim; daughter, Vicky Lynn King and her husband, George; stepdaughters, Marcia Lynn Rose and Jill Valenti; grandchildren, Michelle (John), Tammy, George, T.J. and Ashley; step grandson, James; great-granddaughter, Alexis; and great-stepgrandson, Harley.  Friends will be received on Monday  from  2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin with Fr.
