Harry (Dick) R. Maldonado, age 86, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully,  September 8, 2018 at his daughter Lisa’s home. Born January 27, 1932, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Albino Maldonado and Cecilia (Kelly) Yniguez, and his late wife Margaret (Peggy) Rodgers Maldonado.

Dick was a retired self-employed painter after first retiring from US Steel Christy Park Works. He was a member of the PNA 352 Social Club, McKeesport Turner's and the former Swedish Club all of McKeesport. He enjoyed watching Pittsburgh Sport teams, especially Pirates Baseball. His PA Lottery daily numbers were a must. He supported many organizations throughout the city and the country. Harry's greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Maldonado of McKeesport, Brian Maldonado of Louisville, OH, Cynthia Maldonado of San Bruno, CA, Pam (Tom) Keffer of Pittsburgh, Leayn Thomas of Dravosburg, and special daughter-in-law, Cindy Maldonado of McKeesport. Grandchildren; Alicia & Desirae Maldonado, Chad (Sarah)Maldonado, Bryan Maldonado, Taylor Campagna, Bruce Maldonado, Terra Maldonado, Jaime (Joel) Volturno, Justin Dukic, Shawna Thomas, Patyn & Rhiannon McCune, Kelly (John) Hatfield, Katy (Layne) Hurst and Brandon Maldonado. Great Grandchildren, Olivia, Bryan, Raiden, Julian & Jenna, Taryn & Kavin, Caleb & Cash, Jordan &Alexis, Mason, Madison, and Makenzie.
Surviving are brothers, Thomas (Patty) Maldonado of McKeesport, Polo (Jan) Yniguez, Johnstown, Gilbert (Pat) Yniguez, McKeesport, and Jim (Nancy) Yniguez, McKeesport and a sister, Elvira Yniguez of Ca, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dick was preceded in death by sons, Ray Maldonado, Bruce Maldonado and Chuckie McCune; brothers, Sonny, Robert and Daniel. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Thursday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
