Richard M. Prokop, age 57, of Elizabeth Twp., died December 19, 2019, at home. Born December 11, 1962, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Emil "Moe" and Irene (Bodnar) Prokop and the husband of Lisa (Nolte) Prokop.

Rick worked many years as a Respiratory Therapist and in medical sales. He was a graduate of CCAC, where he received an Associates of Science. Rick played, umpired, and coached various men's softball teams, throughout the MonValley area. He loved to play golf and attend outings. Rick was an avid sports fan, especially Pittsburgh sports. Most recently, he loved to watch his son play football and wrestle at Elizabeth Forward High School and support his daughter in competition cheer at Miller's Cheer of McKeesport.
In addition to his wife, Rick is survived by his twins, a.k.a., Team Prokop, Richard Michael, II and Lyndsay Rose both of Elizabeth Twp.; sister, Joyce (Keith) Drudy of Green Tree and Kenny (Linda) Prokop of McKeesport; mother and father-in-law, William (Rose) Nolte, Sr., of North Versailles; brother-in-law, William Nolte, Jr., of GA; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved faithful companion, Doberman Pinscher, Lexi.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Michael's Church of Elizabeth. Committal prayers and burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
