Dale Joseph Toth, 80, passed away peacefully in Apple Valley, CA on January 11, 2020.

Dale was born on August 23, 1939 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to his parents Joseph Toth and Rita Cullen-Toth. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force, and later worked in civil service, which took him around the world to countries like South Korea, South Africa, Iran, and the Seychelles, where he met his wife Dolores.

Dale and Dolores continued traveling the world and one year later, the couple celebrated the birth of their daughter Rita. They then moved to Saudi Arabia, where Dale was able to pursue his passion for diving in the crystalline waters of the Red Sea.

The family eventually settled in Apple Valley, where Dale worked at George and later Edwards Air Force Base. When he wasn’t working, Dale was a man of simple pleasures who enjoyed leisurely strolls, smoking his pipe, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Amateur Radio enthusiast and he was famous amongst family and friends for his snack time and his many charitable donations.

A loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, as well as a man dedicated to his country, Dale is survived by his wife, Dolores, his daughter, Rita, his grandsons, Nicholas and Stanton, and his brother Alan, who will dearly miss him.

The Toth family is honoring Dale with a private service. If you should be so inclined, in lieu of flowers, Dale would appreciate a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
