John D. Kyle, age 72, of White Oak, died February 4, 2020, at home. Born November 26, 1947, in Swissvale, he was the son of the late John and Ellen (Gilmore) Kyle and the partner of Maureen Rossi for 23 fantastic years

John worked for the U.S. Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport, along with working as an electrician and an electrical inspector for the Middle Atlantic Electrical Company.  He served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. John was a commander for the American Legion Post #63 in Swissvale. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, dancing, watching the Steelers, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Along with his partner Maureen, John is survived by his children George Kyle of McKeesport, J.D. (Brandi) Kyle of New Castle, and Natasha (Ken)Williams of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Samantha, Bradley and Gavin Kyle, Jeremy Karns and Kendall Williams; great-granddaughter Zoey Verner; siblings Marlene Gorscak and Sharon Kyle; nieces Andrea (Howard) Grobstein and Elaine Gorscak; nephews Andy-Joe Gorscak and Cory Kyle; 5 great-nieces, one great-nephew, one great-great-niece, and two great-great-nephew; as well as 1 "granddogger" Swin Williams.
He is preceded in death by his parents
Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
