Walter G. Wojton Sr., age 102, of McKeesport, died February 14, 2020, at home. Born on September 21, 1917, he was the son of the late Stanley and Philomena Wojton and the husband of the late Gertrude (Borkowski) Wojton.

Walter was a retired Westinghouse Air Brake purchasing agent. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre and was a member of Saint Mary's Czestochowa Church in McKeesport.
He is survived by his children, Walter G. Wojton Jr. of McKeesport, William P. Wojton of McKeesport, Marian (Roger) Huff of North Huntingdon and Cathe Livingston of Pleasant Hills; grandchildren Zachary Livingston, Joshua Livingston, Timothy (Magdelina) Wojton, Emily Wojton, Alexandra Wojton, Sara Wojton, and Adam Huff; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Grant, Sienna, and Gabriella; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Walter is also preceded in death by son Timothy Wojton, siblings Matthew Wojton, Josephine Mihalek, and Henry Wojton.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m., at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132. Committal prayers and burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to be made to Medi Home Hospice, 9173 State Route 30, Suite 6, Irwin, Pa 15642, or Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Hilltopper, Post 8430, 1200 Broadway Ave, East McKeesport, PA 15035.
