On Monday, April 20, 2020, Eugene Ralph Marshall (Babe), loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and cousin, passed away at the age of 88.

Babe was born on October 12, 1931, in Clairton PA to the late Albert and Lillie Marshall.  After graduating from Clairton High School, he attended Howard University for two years and served in the United States Army. Babe returned to Clairton to own and operate the Schmidt Hotel for a number of years before working and retiring from United States Steel Coke Works in Clairton.  He later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
