Ronald "Pete" E. Peterson, age 79, of Clairton, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at home. He was a retired welder for Pete's Welding. An Army veteran, he was a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church in Clairton. He played softball into his 70s and enjoyed fishing, hunting, duckpin bowling, and gardening. Born July 13, 1942 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Carl O. and Mildred (Johnson) Peterson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. (Inks) Peterson; sons, Ron (Nina) Peterson of Jefferson Hills, Lon Peterson of Upland, CA, Carl (Kristin) Peterson of Derry and Nick (Micaela) Peterson of Clairton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. Eugene A. Izydorczyk, age 89 of Port Vue, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Born October 9, 1932 in Duquesne, he was a son of Julian and Mary (Chmieleski) Izydorczyk. A member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish and the former St. Joseph's Parish in Port Vue, Eugene began his career as manager of the butcher shop in Foodland in Forest Hills, enjoyed many years as a butcher at Super Duper Market in Port Vue, and finished his career at Rendulic's Meatpacking in the Upper 10th. Ward, McKeesport. On his own, he offered his services dressing hunted game and also made and sold his own homemade hot sausage. Eugene is survived by his wife, to whom he was married since February 12, 1958, Rose (Molinaro) Izydorczyk; his children Pamela (Robert) Fagin of Port Vue, Mark (Monica) Izydorczyk of Elizabeth Twp., Greg (Angela) Izydorczyk of Fairfax, VA, Eugene (Annaliza) Izydorczyk of Gilbert, AZ, and Marijo (Rick) Speidel of Elizabeth Twp.; his grandchildren Alexander, Kathryn (fiance' Hunter Hamilton), and Elizabeth Fagin, Kristal (Doug) Szokoly, Jacquelyn (Steve) Dufalla, and Dylan, Sofia, Austin, and Lauren Izydorczyk; his great-grandchildren Greyson and Giuliana Szokoly, Tyler and Porter Dufalla, and Alaina Fagin; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his brothers James, Albin, and Robert Izydorczyk.

David F. Kisan, age 58 of McKeesport, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Born September 15, 1963 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Stephen and Julia (Petach) Kisan. A member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport and graduate of both Serra High School and Ohio Institute of Technology/DeVry in Columbus, OH, David worked as a technician for Mood Media and was also the owner and proprietor of Dave Does AV. He most of all loved spending time with his children, had a deep appreciation and knowledge of music, and enjoyed motorcycling on his Harley. David is survived by his wife of 33 years Terri (Skotnicki) Kisan; his children David (Danny Currier), Ethan, Kayla, Keyland, Maxwell, Mason, and Brison Kisan; his brothers Stephen A. (Barbara) Kisan of Cleveland, OH and Michael J. Kisan of Versailles; and also nieces and nephews.

Sandra Lee Smith, age 74, of Port Vue, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at home. She retired as a customer service representative for the Dollar Energy Fund in Pittsburgh. She was a member of Port Vue United Methodist Church and enjoyed Saturday night Bingo at her senior residence. Born August 22, 1947 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Eileen (Weimer) Smith.

Edward J. Lucot, age 87 of Glassport and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Born March 19, 1935 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Edwin Lucot and Mary (Martino) Trich. A US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and retired crane operator for US Steel - National Tube Works in McKeesport, Edward was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church (the former St. Joseph's Parish) in Clairton, the WAC Club and Club 22, both of Wilson, the White Oak American Legion, the Elrama Fire Hall, and the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #3 of Clairton. Besides his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Maryann M. (Mackulin) Lucot, who passed away January 10, 2015 and his siblings: Eugene, James, and Sandra Lucot. He is survived by his children Vincent (Bobbi) Lucot of Glassport and Danielle Gogoel of Elizabeth; his grandchildren: Dominique Walker, Courtney Lucot, Eric and Samantha Gogoel, Susan Dunnett, Michael Lucas, and Amy Bodzer; several great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

Ronald H. Sheriff, age 76 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. Born October 10, 1945 in West Mifflin, he was a son of the late Husain and Anna (Roscinko) Sheriff. A US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a retired electrician for US Steel, Clairton Works, Ronald was a social member of the VFW Post # 803 and a former member of Pine Run United Methodist Church, both in Wilson. In his spare time, he enjoyed duck pin bowling at Glassport Lanes, pitching horseshoes, and listening and dancing to doo-wop and oldies. He will be remembered as a very handy "jack-of-all-trades" who was always willing to lend a hand; as an adventurous spirit who was always up for anything; and, most importantly, as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years Gale (Mort) Sheriff; his daughters Dawn (Darryl) Asbury of Smyrna, DE, Vanessa (Todd) Cooper of Lewes, DE, and Ronna (James) Patton of Jefferson Hills; his grandchildren Kailyn, Sarah, and Lindsey Asbury, Rebekka (Dustin) Pittman, and Taylor (Spencer) Patton; his great-grandchildren Colton, Carmen, Ava, and Charlea; his brother William Sheriff of West Mifflin; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Marie Magdic, Dorothy Smith, Genevieve Long, and Alice Stevenson.

James William Gray, age 74 of West Mifflin, passed away at home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife and pets. Born October 1, 1947 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Clifford and Beatrice (Faullert) Gray. James served in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War, where he worked in search and rescue out of Erie. He retired as a Stationary Engineer for Point Park University and was a member of the Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (Holy Spirit) in West Mifflin. James is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia A. "Honey Bunny" Lujetic; sons Jeffrey Gray of Erie, Brian (Lynn) Gray of Erie, and Kevin (Joanna) Gray of Pearland, TX; grandchildren Declan, Matthew, Michael (Janeth), and Megan Gray; first wife Marlene Gray of Erie; sister Joyce Frauens of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law Rayma Gray of Baldwin; brother-in-law David M. Lujetic of Clairton; and niece and nephew Linda and Gary Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Gordon Gray. His wife, Patricia will remember her darling husband as the sweetest, kindest, and gentlest man she had ever met. It was her honor and pleasure to be married and care for her “Beloved Stargazer” as long as she did.

Patrick J. McLaughlin, age 70 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital. Born December 15, 1951 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Charles and Ann (Stinson) McLaughlin. Patrick attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and worked at the Supervalue warehouse in New Stanton. Patrick was one of a kind, loved by many, and he will be so missed.

Francis J. "Buddy" Sita, age 88 of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born May 10, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Sanyi) Sita. Buddy worked as a Metallurgical Technical Specialist at Bettis Atomic Power Labs in West Mifflin, attended Beulah Park United Methodist Church in McKeesport, was a member of the White Oak American Legion, and was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over fifty years.

Mary Elizabeth "Dolly" (Conn) DiFransico, age 77, of West Newton, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She retired as a secretary for Rockwell International in California. She enjoyed gardening, travel, animals, and her grandchildren. Mary was an original, she lived her life her way and we will miss her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Born March 13, 1945 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Filo) Conn. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Polyviou and her husband Tony of Allendale, NJ, and Andrea Neider and her husband Russ of Reading; grandchildren, Robert Barthold, Corey Barthold and Ava Neider; sisters, Carol Smith of Upper St. Clair and Maxine Kostrzewa of Shaler Twp.; close friend, James Story of Clairton; also, one niece, two nephews and many cousins.
