She was born in McKeesport on July 4, 1951 and is the daughter of the late Edwin J. Piskorski and the late Rose Layton Beldham. She retired from Gurrentz International in Forest Hills and was a member of the PNA 352 in McKeesport, White Oak American Legion, the Moose in Irwin and South Wilmerding Fire Hall. She enjoyed going to the beach and loved spending time with her family.

Dennis J. Banks, Sr., age 63, of White Oak, died on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh on February 13, 1958 and is the son of the late Joseph Banks and Erna Birkholz Banks Dean and his stepfather, John Dean.
He was employed by Bombardier/Alston Transportation in West Mifflin. He was a devout Christian, who attended the Norwin Christian Church in North Huntingdon and Open Bible Church, in McKeesport and enjoyed attending their many functions. He enjoyed working with puzzles and building things with his hands including many construction and remodeling projects. He liked attending art festivals, flea markets, open houses, playing Uno with grandchildren and attending their ball games. He loved spending time with his family.

Etna Jean Riley, 94, of Liberty Borough died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 9, 2021. Etna called Jean by all her family and friends, was born in Duquesne on April 2, 1927 and is the daughter of the late Charles Bruce Shaffer and Etna Thompson Shaffer. Jean worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry until she was 80 years old. Jean attended art school and also trained to be an air traffic controller. She was a champion duck pin bowler and loved spending time with her family, entertaining everyone with her sense of humor, unique sense of style, Texas sheet cake, and a glass of wine.

Valoon Osterman, age 97 and 11 months, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Port Vue, died Thursday, July 22, 2021 of natural causes at The Grove Skilled Nursing Facility in North Huntingdon. She was born in McKeesport on August 17, 1923 and is the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Josephine Edwards Valoon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard W. Osterman, who died on March 28, 2000; sisters, Ruth Dressler; Joanne Wisser; and brother, Jack Valoon. Margaret leaves behind a large, loving family which includes her daughter, Carol (Richard) Andrews of Greensburg; sons, Jack (Patricia) Osterman of North Huntingdon; Robert (Stacey) Osterman of Port Vue; James (Sharon) Osterman of Harrisburg; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephews.
