Dolly Irene Belcher

Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory

Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | February 01, 2026

Dolly Belcher, 63, of White Oak, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of fierce devotion, deep loyalty, and an unforgettable spirit.

Known affectionately by many as "Dib", Dolly was the proud and loving mother of Angel Andrews, and cherished her role as mother-in-law to EJ Andrews, whom she adored. Her greatest joy in life was being "Nanny" to her beloved grandchildren, Ronnie Johnson (Rebecca) and Evan Andrews. They were truly her world. Everything she did, every sacrifice she made, and every dream she held was rooted in her love for them.

A lifelong resident of both White Oak and McKeesport, Dolly carried her hometown pride wherever she went-especially when cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. She also had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, embracing the freedom, strength, and adventure they symbolized-qualities that reflected her own spirit.

Dolly had a gentle, tender heart-especially when it came to her love for animals. She deeply loved her cats, who brought her comfort, companionship, and joy. Caring for them was one of the many ways she expressed her nurturing spirit.

Family was the center of Dolly's life. She shared a special, unbreakable bond with her baby brother Jimbo Belcher (Cindy), cherishing their yearly adventures together-whether traveling, enjoying beach trips, or laughing through casino outings. She treasured her long talks and heartfelt conversations with her sister Jean Brieck (Don), and always felt safe and protected knowing her big brother Robert "Bird" Belcher (Corie) was watching over her. Dolly also held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, loving each of them deeply and proudly.

Dolly was blessed with a lifelong friendship with Bob Ward, her best friend, with whom she shared countless memories, laughter, adventures, and unwavering companionship. Their bond was built on trust, loyalty, and shared experiences that will never be forgotten.

She retired from Mellon Bank, and throughout her career also held respected office administration roles with Merck Medco, Wabtec, Hainley Packaging and Rose Transportation. Wherever she worked, Dolly was known for her dedication, integrity, and fierce loyalty-traits that defined her both professionally and personally.

Dolly was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jean Seymour (Brown) and her brother Ernie Belcher, whom she missed deeply every day of her life. Their absence left a lasting ache in her heart, and she often spoke of them with love, longing, and hope. Her faith gave her comfort in knowing that this separation was only temporary.

Now, we take peace in knowing that Dolly has been joyfully reunited in heaven with her mother and her brother Ernie. We imagine her welcomed home with open arms, embraced in perfect love, free from pain, and surrounded by the presence of God.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are comforted by the promise of faith-that this goodbye is not forever. Dolly's love lives on through her daughter, her grandchildren, her family, and all who were blessed to know her. Until the day we meet again, may she ride free, rest in peace, and shine forever in God's eternal glory.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
