Albert F. “Donuts” Piesik, age 93, of McKeesport, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was born in Port Vue, PA on October 10, 1932 and was the son of the late John and Rose Wulczynski Piesik. Al was a member of the United States Navy Reserves during high school and later served on the USS Meredith destroyer. After his military service, Albert was employed as a machinist and foreman for United States Steel. At night, he helped his wife perform perms at her beauty salon.
He took a chance and bought into the Dunkin Donuts franchise, where he eventually owned five locations. Al was also on the profit distribution board for Dunkin Donuts, which helped all fellow franchisees.
He was also longtime member of the Youghiogheny Country Club and a former board member, where he developed his love of golf
He served as treasurer of his investment club for many years.
Nothing was more important to him than his family and extended family, which included nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary Czestochowa Polish Church, and his polish heritage was extremely important. He had a strong passion and love for polkas. Al was a kind man and helped so many behind the scenes, but never needed anyone to know
An accomplishment that he was very proud of was being a passenger on the first Concorde supersonic airplane flight.
