Gerald J. "Kid" Cola, Jr., age 64 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Select Specialty - UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born August 22, 1961 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Gerald J. Cola, Sr. and Elsie (Germek) Cola.  A former security guard at US Steel - Clairton Works, Gerald was a member of the Sons of Columbus - Santa Maria Council #4 and a social member of the American Legion - Daniel Keffer Post #75, both of Clairton.  In his spare time, he loved sports, gardening, and most of all his dog Wilson.  Gerald is survived by his wife Shari (Chasko) Cola; his children Jessica (Shane) Briggs of Jefferson Hills, Malarie Bartko of Elizabeth, and Richard "R.J." Bartko of Clairton; his grandchildren Isaiah, Ian, Serenity, Alyssa, Colton, Kierra, Devlin, Deion, Haylee, and Haven; and his brother Gregory Cola of Elizabeth.

Joseph A. “Chis” Chisick, age 97, of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Whitehall Borough Post Acute. A U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II, he was a retired postal worker for the United States Postal Service in Clairton. He enjoyed his family, crosswords, playing cards and the lottery, and he loved all Pittsburgh sports teams. Born September 10, 1928 in Clairton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Vargo) Chisick and husband of the late Arlene C. (Davis) Chisick. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Grady of Whitehall and Christine (Tim) Biery of Upper St. Clair; son, Joseph C. Chisick of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Michael, Kristopher and Alexandra Grady, Trisha (Ross) Steffy, Shannon (Matt) Finch and Jonathon (Taylor) Biery; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Hayes Biery, Julian Finch and Tilly Steffy; sisters-in-law, Cindy (George) Tauber of Toledo, OH and Sherry (Jeff) Matola of Columbus, OH; brother-in-law, LaRoss Campbell of Pittsburgh; also, nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank his dear sweet neighbor, Carole Tignanelli, and longtime caregivers who enabled him to spend almost all of his late life living in his own home, Carleen and Kristen. Joseph R. Mitko, age 77 of the Villages, FL and formerly of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026 at home with his wife of 55 years by his side.  Born April 3, 1949 in Uniontown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Christobek) Mitko.  Joe lived a prosperous life providing for this family starting out working as a manager at McDonald's while putting himself through business school at Point Park College and as a member of Pennsylvania National Guard.  He then went to work for US Steel and Olympic Steel and traveled the world.  He retired from Nippon Steel through which he traveled to South Korea and Japan.  After retirement, he relocated to The Villages, FL where he found a second career as a community watchman.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids golfing and enjoying the nightlife at the Village squares.  Joe is survived by his wife Jackie Mitko; his son Joel (Erin) Mitko; his daughter Jessica (Anthony, Jr) Mitko; his grandsons Austin and Riley Mitko; his sisters Maryann Mitko and Elaine (Robert) Fankulewski; his brother Ronald (Renee) Mitko; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Clara Mae Riley.

Kristen “T” Felicetty, age 68 of West Newton and formerly of Glassport, passed away at home on Friday, April 24, 2026.  Born January 28, 1958, in McKeesport, she was the beloved daughter of the late Emil and Gaynelle (Woy) Felicetty.  In addition to her parents, Kristen was preceded in death by her brothers, Shawn and Kerry Felicetty, and the love of her life, Larry Raisner. K risten dedicated many years of her life to her nursing career before retiring. She had a deep love for music and could often be found enjoying music festivals. A devoted Pittsburgh sports fan, she proudly cheered on the Steelers, Pitt Panthers, and the Clairton Bears. She found great joy in spoiling her great-nieces-and-nephews and treasured the time spent with them, as well as with her beloved cat.  Known for her kindness and generosity, Kristen was always quick to lend a helping hand and brought light into the lives of so many who knew her. She is survived by her brother, Shannon (Tamara) Felicetty of Buena Vista; her nieces and nephews: Crystal (Dave) Slover, Samantha (Marc) Fate, Sarah (Marty) Sidorchuck, Ryan (Samantha) Felicetty, and Emily Felicetty; and her cherished great-nieces and nephews: Mark, Felicity, Teddy, Kinleigh, Marek, and Alivia.  "Never travel faster than your Guardian Angel can fly."

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, was a skilled woodworker, and enjoyed bowling. Born July 13, 1963, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Norris E. William S. Scully, Sr., age 95 and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 in The Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela.  Born May 25, 1930 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Regis and Eleanor (Murphy) Scully.  A former Union Arbitrator for the Steelworkers Union at US Steel Clairton Works, William was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church.  He is survived by his children William S. (Betty) Scully, Jr. and Paula (Felix) Fusco, both of Clairton; his grandchildren Kerry (Dale) Kramer of Clairton, Bill (Melissa) Scully of Murrysville, Beth (Jimmy) Stankiewicz of Mt. Pleasant, Melissa (Bob) Ferry of Elizabeth Twp., Bill (Marti) Fusco of Greensburg, Eric (Kamela Gissendanner) Fusco of Clairton; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Scully, his grandson Felix Fusco, Jr., and his sister Eleanor Scully.

Thomas H. Cain

Thomas H. “Bones” Cain, 91, of Forward Township, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Tom lived a full and meaningful life centered around family, hard work, and service to his community. He was a longtime member of Elizabeth United Methodist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Albany, spending time in the Mediterranean Sea.

Tom was a skilled craftsman whose career reflected both talent and dedication. He worked as a cabinet maker at Dreschler’s Cabinet Company in Elrama before going on to found and operate Rondell Cabinet Company. Even into his 80s, he continued to lend his expertise by repairing and maintaining chiropractic tables for local doctors—a testament to his strong work ethic and willingness to help others.

He was deeply involved in his community, holding membership in VFW Post 7632 (Kastan-Uveges Post), Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge #526, and a former member of the Elizabeth Lions Club, and a charter member of the Forward Township Fire Department. Tom valued camaraderie and service, and these organizations were an important part of his life.

Born November 3, 1934, in Castle Shannon, he was the son of the late Elmer and Ellen (Haywood) Cain.

Above all, Tom will be remembered for the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Joanne (Charles) Cain; his daughter, Kathleen (Jeremy) Kluegel; his cherished granddaughters, Jordan and Haley Vasko; his niece, Ashley Krznaric; and many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine, and his brothers, James, George, Howard, and Leroy.

Family and friends will be received at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 3–8 PM, with a Masonic Service at 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ed Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 317 Second Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037.

Tom’s legacy of dedication, kindness, and quiet strength will live on in all who knew and loved him.

Robert A. Jensen, age 88 of North Versailles, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born November 7, 1937 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Arthur and Alice (Kretzer) Jensen.  Robert worked as a self-employed carpenter and also for the McKeesport Housing Authority.  He served in the National Guard and was a member and past post commander of the AMVETS of North Versailles.  Robert was preceded in death by his wife, the late Patricia A. (Brady) Jensen, who passed away June 3, 2020, his grandson Derek Scheib, and his brother Raymond Jensen.  He is survived by his son David (Nikki) Jensen of Merrit Island, FL; his daughters Pamela (Joseph Petrocelli) Scheib of Greensburg, Sue E. (Anthony) Brajdic of North Versailles, and Mary Lynn (Raymond) Baez of Rockledge, FL; his thirteen grandchildren Kaitlyn, Taylor, Caden, Brady, Michael, Natalie, Nicole, Anthony, Rachel, Andrew, Thomas, and Jessica; his nine great-grandchildren Walker, Brooks, Kylee, Travis, Greyson, Adalynn, Cobie, Cameron, and Brenton; his sister-in-law Mary Jensen of Latrobe; and also nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the former St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Clairton. She retired after 12 years as the first Top Rate female boilermaker at U.S. Steel, Clairton Works. She was a former employee at DeCarlo’s Fruit Market in Elizabeth and enjoyed gardening. Born October 22, 1944 in Orlando, FL, she was a daughter of the late Francis M. and Pauline M. (McKutta) Cavanaugh. She is survived by her husband, Theodore G. Kondos; son, Richard (Denise) Miller of Monongahela; three grandchildren; siblings, Michael, Estelle, Mary, Steve, Gordon, Margaret “Maggie” and Susan “Tooie”; also, nieces and nephews. She was a retired billing clerk at U.S. Steel with 40-years of service and a former member of St. Joachim & Anne Parish, St. Michael’s Church in Elizabeth Twp. Born January 6, 1932, in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Yarulis) Bernosky. She is survived by her sisters, Diane (George) Mary of Robinson Township and Arlene (Francis) Millis of North East; brother, David (Debra) Bernosky of Montgomery, TX; sister-in-law, Grace Bernosky of West Chester; also, nieces and nephews. She loved being in her garden, being creative making crafts, and working with her hands. Born November 28, 1937 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Thompson and wife of the late Donald L. Brannon, who passed away in 2022. She is survived by her children, Don Brannon of Lincoln Borough, Tammy (the late Russell) Forsythe of Lincoln Borough, Pamela Delsignore of Apollo and Janet (Richard) Gabonay of West Newton; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Dolly Stewart of Hermine; also, nieces and nephews. He was an Army veteran, a member of Iron Workers Local Union 3 since 1951, and a retired employee of Dick Corporation. Woodworking was his avid hobby. Born November 12, 1930, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Agnus (Ohm) Johnson and beloved husband of the late Joan (Crawford) Johnson. He was the loving father of Gary Johnson of Buena Park, CA and Keith (Rosemary) Johnson of Gibsonia; grandfather of Spencer, Victoria (Samual) Svonavec and Cristian; great-grandfather of Maeve Svonavec; and sister-in-law, Lois Johnson (Saracco). Russell C. “Russ” Connors, age 72, of Elizabeth, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at home surrounded by his family. He was a retired welder for Tube City Corp. in West Mifflin. He was a member of Club 46 in Clairton where he played shuffleboard and Club 139 of Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Co. He enjoyed working on automobiles, hunting, and working his small sawmill, but most of all watching his grandchildren grow. Born July 4, 1953 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Frank B. and Evelyn (Miller) Connors. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Diane (Newman) Connors; children, Patrick (Courtney) Connors of Elizabeth, Joseph (Nikki) Palmer of Marianna and Shelby Connors of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Finnegan, Presley, Brian, Payton and Cameron; sister, Connie (Tom) Henrich; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frankie and Ted Connors. Friends will be received in the Paul E.
