Sue Anne MacPherson Spahr, 88, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Belle Vernon and Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born February 3, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Robert William Parkins and A. Areba (Paull) Parkins. She was the wife of the late John Charles MacPherson, Jr., and the late Ronald M. Spahr. Sue Anne was a member, deacon and elder of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and was a hugger and member of the Belle Choir and Chancel Choir there.

Steven W. Kolodziej, Sr., 65, of Forward Township, lost his valiant battle with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma on Sunday, August 9, 2020. He was born July 23, 1955 in McKeesport. Steve was the former proprietor of Lucky Dawgs Doggie Daycare. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors with his faithful pup Maggie, and having a Coors Lite with his many friends.

Robert Louis Brown, 93, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. He was born August 3, 1927 in Willock, PA and was the son of the late John Chizer and the late Alberta (Curry) Miller. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII as a Radarman on the USS Boxer CV-21 Aircraft Carrier. He worked at the former Bell Telephone Company and later AT&T. He was a member of The American Legion 701 in White Oak, The Polaris Masonic Lodge in McKeesport and The Frank Gun Cub in Buena Vista. He was also a shriner and a Scottish Rite Mason. Robert was an avid golfer and hunter, and was a Pittsburgh sports fan, most notably having Steelers season tickets for many years.

Walter J. “Pat” Reczynski, 88, of McKeesport, passed away of natural causes at UPMC McKeesport on August 4, 2020, after several months of declining health. Born in Penn on September 15, 1931, to the late Florence Reczynski also of Penn, Walter was married to Jacqueline “Jackie” (Yaroschak) of Braddock on September 1, 1953, in Augusta, GA, at Sacred Heart Church. In his early career, he was a copilot at Epic Airways Inc. in Pittsburgh and later was an owner of Aerographic Photo Company in Ardara and of An-Di Electronics VCR Repair in White Oak. He was an electronics repairman, mechanic, craftsman, and self-taught pilot who had a passion for anything related to flying.

Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Munshower, 84, of Murrysville, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at home. She was born January 8, 1936 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Decoroso and Angela Rose Dilullo Como. She was the wife of the late Richard Irwin Munshower, who passed away in 1995. She worked as a personal assistant at the Estee Lauder Company and as a secretary for the Urban League. Liz was a loving mother and doting grandmother who loved cooking for her family, the outdoors, animals and Bingo.

Gregory James "Eggs" Haughey, 65, of Glassport, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. He was born May 29, 1955 in McKeesport and was the son of Lois Mae (Straub) Haughey of White Oak and the late Jerome Gregory Haughey. Greg worked as a maintenance mechanic for both the South Hills and St. Vincent Health Systems. He was a life member and former Captain of the Rainbow Vol. Fire Department and was a member and past president of the Glassport No 1. Fire Department. He loved hunting and fishing and was also a certified Scuba Diver Instructor. Greg's favorite hobby though was sitting in his chair and watching tv.

(Mary) Rita Rose Pelter, 75, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus Sunday, August 2,2020. She was born September 28, 1944 in Pittsburgh and was daughter of the late Larence and Elsie Hayes Rose. Rita was a resident of Greenock for more than 40 years. Educated as a teacher she spent 10 years teaching full-time and many more as a substitute touching the lives of all students she taught.
