David M. "Cookie" Lazur, age 75, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital. Born April 3, 1949, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John and Frances (Miller) Lazur. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War and a baker for Clairton Bakery.

Cheryl (Sharpnack) Tignanelli, age 81, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at home. She was a retired secretary for Dean Honda in West Mifflin and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth. Born September 25, 1943, in Elizabeth Twp., she was a daughter of the late Walton and Sylvia (Jones) Sharpnack. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Tignanelli; sons, Timothy (Colleen) Tignanelli of Uniontown, Troy Tignanelli of Columbus, OH and Thomas Tignanelli of Gunnison, CO; grandchildren, Andrew Tignanelli, Anthony (Teri) Tignanelli, Devin (Angela) Tignanelli and Sarah Tignanelli; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Audrianna and Jackson Tignanelli and Lucy Goroncy; sister, Mona Pungitore of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Wright.

Born April 30, 1980, in Luling, LA, he was the son of the late Charles Brown and the late Linda Ann Jenkins. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for We Care at South Hills in Canonsburg. Sabrina F. Boyle, age 19, of Elizabeth, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at West Penn Hospital. She was a former colorguard at Elizabeth Forward High School, and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing and hunting. Born January 22, 2005 in Washington, PA, she was a daughter of Richard (Michelle) Boyle of Belle Vernon and Lisa McClellan (Steven) Beatty of Elizabeth. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Ethan Boyle and Jacob, Trevor and Oliver Beatty; maternal grandparents, James and Charlotte McClellan of Claysville, James (Andrea) Beatty of Monaca and Pamela (Bo) Harper of Baldwin; paternal grandparents, Mark and Kathy Boyle of North Charleroi and Dan and Barb Harvey of Charleroi; also, aunts, uncles and cousins. Joseph L. Mundorff, age 89, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2025, at Baldwin Health Center. He was a retired steelworker at U.S. Steel Clairton Works and a U.S. Army veteran who formerly served as an honor guard for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born July 6, 1935, in Bolivar, he was a son of the late William and Mabel (Fletcher) Mundorff. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jane (Ofcharik) Mundorff; sons, Rich Mundorff of Canonsburg and Ronald Mundorff of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Tyler, Jaylene and Ryan Mundorff; also survived by nieces and nephews. Timothy Zalac, age 59 of Elizabeth Township, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Timothy was a member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen #9, current owner of Rinnie's Place in Perryopolis, and former owner of The Sweet Spot Bakery in Rostraver Plaza. He is survived by his wife Kimberley (Harris) Zalac; his daughters Virginia "Boomchadakizmo" and Jennie "Bobennie" Zalac; his sisters Sandra Boden, Michelle Concha, Connie Rossetti, Stephanie Boden; his brothers David, Craig, Gerald Fortney, Stephen; his brother-in-law Chuck Harris; and nieces and nephews.
