Frances Colner, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home. She was born December 2, 1931, in North Braddock, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kocan) Kenda. Prior to her retirement, Frances was a processor in the loan department for Herminie Bank and a member of St. Edward Parish. She enjoyed trips to the beach, was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially attending Pirate games and Frances cherished the time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Colner, and siblings, Steve Kenda, John Kendra I, Martha Kenda, Bernie Beckstein, Mary Kenda and John Kenda II. She is survived by her sons, Anthony "Butch" Colner, John Colner and his wife, Elaine; daughters, Karen Ziska and her husband, Jim, Fran Sico and her husband, Joe; grandchildren, Laurie (Joe) Butera, Mike (Stacy) Ziska, Abby, Eric and Sarah Sico; great-grandchildren, Luca, Dom, Kaylyn and Maddy. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 9 - 9:30 a.m., at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Interment in Irwin Union Cemetery. The family would like to thank Bethany Hospice for their compassionate care they gave to Frances.
