Claudia J. Sowerby, 85, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born January 10, 1938 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles and Jean (Schrieber) Hartzell. She was the wife of the late Frederick C. "Fritz" Sowerby who passed away September 7, 2013. Claudia was a member of the Milligans Cove Christian Church in Bedford.

Marcella Markham, age 83, of White Oak, died at home on April 19, 2023. Born October 16, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Gidick) Saunders and the wife of Fred Markham. Marcella was an avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to the casino. She was the backbone of her family and loved to spoil her three little dogs.

Nancy Ann Williams, 81, of Bunola, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023. She was born at home in Bunola on November 6, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (Mason) Folk. She was the wife to the late Robert Williams, who passed away in April, 2000. Nancy graduated from Elizabeth Foward High School and went on to obtain an Associates Degree in Business from CCAC. She held many jobs at different companies, but her favorite title was "Mom" and "GG."

Timothy P. Corridon, 59, of N. Versailles formerly of N. Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born December 10, 1963 in Wilmerding, a son of the late Edward and Doris (Corletti) Corridon. Tim was an electronic technician and a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of '81. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching Formula 1 Racing, listening to 80's classic rock music and spending time with his family and feline companion, Lillie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan (Unnone) Corridon; twin brother, Thomas and his wife, Deb; brother, John; sister, Kathy Corridon and her wife, Lisa; nephews, Jonathan, Edward, Brandon, Corey, Mark, James; and niece, Sarah. Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home and proceed to St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles, PA. Steven Francis Lemansky, age 70, of Jefferson Hills, died on April 6. 2023 at Jefferson Hills Manor. Born July 2, 1952, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Stephen F. and Violet M. (Bruno) Lemansky.
Steven was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. He was a former member of the old St. Michael Church in Elizabeth. Steven was passionate about working on cars and "souped" them up. He also had a motorcycle he enjoyed riding.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Starr; nephew, Joshua Starr; niece, Ashlee Starr; great-nephew, Anthony Manno; and great-niece, Gianna Manno.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Maxwell Lemansky.

Francis “Rick” Joseph Krivda, age 78, of McKeesport, passed away at home on April 12, 2023. He was born in Braddock on December 21, 1944 and is the son of the late Stephen and Josephine Huss Krivda. He was preceded in death in 2014 by his loving wife, Jean, of 47 years.

Barbara Norene Wolf Kiser, age 87, of Liberty Borough, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. Born September 12, 1935 in Ridgeway, Ohio, she was the wife of Donald L. Kiser who preceded her in death. Barbara was a piano teacher who shared her love of music with hundreds of students. Additionally, she directed children’s choirs at her churches, was an active member of adult and hand bell choirs and played piano and organ duets often. Barbara served on the Board of Directors for the McKeesport Symphony Society for many years and spearheaded numerous fundraising campaigns. She had many other interests including gardening, cooking, baking her famous apple pies, reading, and sewing. Barbara put so much love into everything that she made including quilts for all occasions, knit or crocheted afghans, baby outfits and her signature Baba lambs for newborns.

Rev. Larry Edward Walker, 85, of Jeanette, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023. He was born in McKeesport on February 7, 1938 and was the son to the late Carl Edward and Gladys (Daniels) Walker. A Pastor for 20+ years at the Church of the Brethren, a talented Secular singer through the 50s & 60s, and a wonderful Gospel singer, who started and was a part of numerous groups, including the "Lovetones" with his wife, Judy. A skilled craftsman, Larry was always willing to lend a hand and offered to help with many home remodel projects. He enjoyed landscaping and planting flowers, as well as fishing.

William Joseph Dilmore, age 85, of Apollo, formerly of Murrysville, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. He was born in Wilmerding on February 8, 1938 and is the son of the late Francis J. and Edith Forgie Dilmore and the husband of the late Laverne Shredl. William proudly served in the United States Marines and retired as a draftsman from Westinghouse Research. He was a member of the Logans Ferry Sportsman Club and a former member of the McKeesport Sportsman Club. Bill spent a lot of time bird watching, on the gun range, and spending time with his canine friend, Greta.
