Stephan "Steve" Semko, age 78, of McKeesport, formerly of Clairton, died May 9, 2021, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Born July 25, 1942, in Clairton, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Keresten) Semko and beloved husband of Adrienne "Lynn" (Snyder) Semko for 48 years.

Pamela Sue (Kulus) Brown, age 55, of Braddock Hills, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on May 9, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 7, 1965, she was the daughter of Constance Tassone (Dombrosky) and the late Thomas Kulus. She was a former legal secretary for a Pittsburgh law firm and a longtime waitress at Pizza Hut-Duquesne. She loved being with her family, which was everything to her, and she enjoyed going to Kennywood, lottery tickets and her cat, Pumpkin.
She was the wife of the late Paul Afanasieff. Survivors include her mother, Constance (Tassone) Dombrosky and her step-father, Gerald Dombrosky of Elizabeth Twp.; daughter, Heather Brown of North Braddock; siblings Thomas (Jacqueline) Kulus of West Mifflin, Cindy (Jim) Capell of Monroeville and Marie (Bryan) Krasneski of South Park. She was a doting and loving aunt of Tanner, Bennett and Ethan Kulus, Katie and Jimmy Capell and Ariana and Colton Krasneski; step-mother of Jesse Afanasieff and step-grandmother of Shane and Cailey Afanasieff.

Milan John "Mel" Kesser, Jr., 65, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born May 5, 1956 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Milan John Kesser, Sr. and Rosemary M. (McKay) Kesser Gerondites. Milan was a faithful and devoted member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon. He worked as a cab driver and also for the former National Tube in McKeesport. Mel was a very religious and spiritual person who would pray for the world and for those who passed away everyday. He was an excellent caregiver for his mother, Rosemary who recently passed away April 12, 2021. He was also a member of the McKeesport Dartball League.

John Paul Peddicord, 69, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 8, 1951 in Pittsburgh, a son of Catherine (Artman) Peddicord and the late Louis Peddicord.
John was a laborer for Federal Pacific and enjoyed playing the drums, building puzzles, reading, playing trivia, telling and listening to jokes and watching his favorite tv shows. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy; brothers-in-law, Jack and Mike; sister-in-law, Laura Peddicord; and nephew, Mike. He is survived by his brothers, Louie (Karan), Kenwood, Sam (Laurie), Mick, Steve (Rena); sisters, Linda Proctor, Debbie Constantine, Kate Hawk, JoAnn Brugnoli; aunt, Mary Pogel; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

William C. Whitehead, age 92, of North Huntingdon, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born May 28, 1928 in Irwin, a son of the late Clarence R. and Sara E. (Daily) Whitehead. Prior to his retirement, Bill was a master tool and die maker for GM and attended The First Presbyterian Church in Irwin. He was a graduate of Norwin High School Class of 1947. He was involved in many activities such as Rough Riders Assoc., Swinging Squares of Irwin and Herold Grange Square Dancers, White Oak Gun Club, Laurel Highlands Coachman, the Winnebago Club, and the Odd Fellows. Bill was a board member of the Auto Workers Federal Credit Union. He was involved in may more activities, but his true love was his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth J. Romig Whitehead; sons, William C. Jr., Larry and Gary; and daughter-in-law, Marilyn Whitehead. He is survived by his sons, Bruce, Mark (Suzie), and Rick; daughters, Linda Somerville and her husband, Joseph, and Janet Gilbert and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Douglas (Vicky) Whitehead, Melanie (Richard) Freese, Adam Whitehead, Michael Whitehead, Samantha (Bill) Kane, Ashton (Michael) Wertz, Linnea (Drew) Wortmann, Courtney Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Dante, Kylie, Abby, Bryce, Maddox, Riley, Eden, Bryer, Wren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little dog Toby. James H. Keys, age 61, of McKeesport, died May 6, 2021, at UPMC Mercy. Born August 5, 1959, in Greensburg, he was the son of the late James G. and Gladys (Shirley) Keys and the husband of the late Terri (Rosak) Keys.
James worked in the construction industry until his health would no longer allow him to work. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors in his early years. James' most incredible joy was the happiness he felt when spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Betty (Saula) Beresford, 83, peacefully passed on May 5, 2021, with her loving family at her side. Betty was the loving mother of Deborah Howatineck, Kirk Beresford, Doug (Jennifer) Beresford and Scott Beresford. She was the special Bub of Tyler, Kaylee, Brian and Kasey; Great-Bub of Bentley and Brodie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends. Betty was preceded in passing by her parents, Mike and Lois (Love) Saula, and siblings, Margaret DeFalco, Norman “Nick” Saula and George Saula. Betty enjoyed crafts and gardening. Her greatest joy was her family and the time she spent with them. Family was the most important to her, and she loved them unconditionally. They loved her dearly, and will miss her deeply.
