Donna (Snyder) Bowers, age 82, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at home. She was a member of First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport, where she was a member of the Ladies White Cross Missionary Society. She was a volunteer at Elizabeth Boro Clergy Food Bank and a former member of Elizabeth Wesleyan Church. Born December 21, 1937 in Star Junction, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Faye (Askey) Snyder. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, H. Glenn Bowers Jr.; children, Pastor Charles (Rosella) Bowers of Morgantown, WV, Stephen (Sarah) Bowers of Clarkson, KY and Edward Bowers of Greenock; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;  sisters, Judy Armstrong of Confluence and Sandy Martinelli of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews.

Tracy Ann (DeFelice) Henricksen passed on August 28, 2020 at the age of 47. Tracy was the devoted wife of Justin P. Henricksen; loving mother of Steven Thompson, adoring grandmother of 2.  She was preceded in passing by her father, Joseph DeFelice and brother, Joseph DeFelice II. In addition to her husband, son and grandchildren, Tracy is survived by her mother, Rose (Garbowski) Smith, sister, Kristy Blitch, numerous nieces nephews and friends. Donald W. Morrison, age 73 of North Huntingdon died August 29, 2020 at his home. He was born June 5, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pa,, a son of the late William and Florence Morrison. Prior to his retirement, Don was a special education teacher for the Norwin School District where he was also the the Norwin middle school girl's volleyball coach. Don was very active in both the Norwin and Irwin Rotary clubs serving his community. He was a graduate of Clarion University and an avid golfer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne Berkoben Morrison, one son, Patrick and his wife April, one daughter Amanda Maderas, one sister, Denise Craver, two grandchildren, Valin and Kieren Morrison. Gregory S. Hammons was born on February 8, 1958 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Marion Ramseur Hammons and the late Lee Cornelius Hammons.

Herk or Herky as he was affectionately known by his family and friends graduated from Clairton High School in Clairton, Pennsylvania. During his high school years, he was outstanding in sports, gaining a spot on the Junior and High School football, basketball, and baseball teams.  Following his love of art and drawing, he also attended the Art Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Soon after, he was employed at United States Steel Clairton Works, and the City of Clairton Street Department. 

Herk had a strong passion for music, singing and dancing, so much so, during the 70’s he and a few of his friends formed a local band.  Herk had a great love for people, a kind heart, and was very personable, he made friends easily. He was always willing to give anyone the shirt off his own back.

Fred retired as Maintenance Supervisor of Kennywood Park, West Mifflin, where he was employed for 51 years.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, Shidle Lodge 601, F. & A.M., Irwin, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh, and Syria Temple, Pittsburgh. He was a volunteer of Norwin Area Meals On Wheels and enjoyed yard work and taking care of his flower beds.

Mary Ann "Beebo" (Capul) Lewis, age 86 of Clairton, passed away at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.  Born January 5, 1934 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Teresa (Pasquerell) Capul.  A retired medical secretary for UPMC Children's Hospital, Mary Ann was an active member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years (together for 70 years) Robert Lewis; her children Brian (Leslie) Lewis of Chicago, IL, Lori (Donald) Mason of Homestead, and Paul (Pamela) Lewis of Mentor, OH; her grandchildren Blake, Payton, Ethan, Cole, Ben, John, and Riley; her siblings Loretta Valvo, Frances Lawson, Irene Rossi, and Terese and Mark Capul; her stepmother Carole Capul; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her siblings Joan Kutscher, Louise Lewis, and Anthony Capul.

She was born, May 28, 1940 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Michlovic) Badzgon. Prior to her retirement, Eleanor was an engineer for Westinghouse. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, Women at the Well Prayer Group and AAUW - American Assoc. of University Women. She enjoyed knitting, tutoring math and belonged to the Thyme for Herbs group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Iwinski; brothers, Raymond and Albert Badzgon; and sister, Frances Zoscak. She is survived by her two sons, Dave and his wife Melissa, Tom and his wife Leah; daughter, Dianne DelBene and her husband Frank; brother, Elmer Badzgon and his wife, Joan; sister, Aggie Eicher; and six grandchildren Kessara, Aaron, Jacob, Joseph, Nicole and Mario. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. Interment to follow at Mars Hill Cemetery. He was born April 16, 1940 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Louis and Nellie (Bocek) Washowich. Milan was retired banking manager for Western Pennsylvania National Bank, which would later become PNC for many years and was a former member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, where he previously served as an altar server. He was a proud member of The McKeesport Lions Club, The Port Vue Seniors and The Archer Hill Bowling league. He was a softball player for many years for McKeesport on the Equibank team of The Steel Valley League and also played basketball every Wednesday night at the former Turner's gym in McKeesport.

Sally A. Williams, age 55, of McKeesport, died August 26, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport. Born May 23, 1965, in Mckeesport, she was the daughter of Mary Holden and the late Lawrence Craig.

Sally worked as a CNA at the former Liberty Manor Nursing Home until her illness would no longer allow her. She took great pride in caring for her children and home. Sally enjoyed camping, music, and taking long car rides.

In addition to her mother, Sally is survived by her partner Erik Bachman, Sr.;  husband, Robert Williams; children, Amanda (Sean) Fine of White Oak, Megan (William) Gumpher of Finleyville, Bobbie Jo Williams of Christy Park, Matthew Williams of West Newton, Zachary, and Cole Bachman both of Versailles Borough; grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden, Kristin, Madrix, Kaydence, and Keira; siblings, Lawrence Craig, Sr., Mary Lou Wilson, and Hope (Robert) Ross of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews.
