Georgine "Georgia" Wagner, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020 at home.
Born in Underodoch, Germany on July 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Max and Sophie (Kestle) Mueller, and for 65 years the wife of the late Edward Wagner. Georgia was also preceded in death by her brother Hank Mueller. She is survived by her children, Ed (Jeannie) Wagner, and Sherry (the late John) Scharritter; five grandchildren, Gary (Kissy), Kelly, Scott (Janine), Erik, Chris (Loree), 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Georgia took great pride in caring for her family and home.
She was a member of the former Immanuel Lutheran Church in Braddock.

John P. Cerqua, age 91 of Jefferson Hills and formerly of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Grandview Manor, Elizabeth. Born September 21, 1929 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Antonio and Rosaline (Polsinelli) Cerqua. A US Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas a'Becket Church in Jefferson, John worked as a carpenter for Zell Bros. in McKeesport, for himself making custom built kitchens, and at Magee Women's Hospital as a carpenter and in maintenance. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, camping, playing poker, travelling, casinos, and square dancing. John was also a Scoutmaster for the St. Paulinas Pack 68 Cub Scouts. He was also family oriented and loved to spend summers camping in Laurel State Park or vacationing in the Outer Banks. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth (Petersen) Cerqua; his brothers Joseph< Reno, Louis, and Sundae Cerqua; and his sister Rose Coletta. He is survived by his wife Austa M. (Reckhouse) Cerqua; his daughters Mary Rose (Fred) Adams of Moorestown, NJ and Dianne (Nick) Curinga of Forward Twp.; his sons John (Michelle) Cerqua of New Eagle, David Cerqua of of Pleasanton, CA, and Anthony Cerqua of South San Francisco, CA; six grandsons; twelve great-grandchildren; brother Peter Cerqua of Ephrata; nieces and nephews; stepchildren Elizabeth (Martin) Baxendell, Linda Lamberger, Walter (Jennifer) Butler, Mark (Debbie) Butler, and James (Cheryl) Butler; and thirteen step-grandchildren.

Christine M. Gretz, age 73, of Liberty Borough died September 18, 2020. She passed away peacefully in the company of family at home. Born February 2, 1947, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Wargo) Matta Sr. and the loving wife of Daniel E. Gretz for 54 years.
Tina worked as a manager for Walmart in the shipping and receiving department for 26 years. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching crime dramas in her free time. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and she loved her cats. Tina enjoyed vacationing with her family. She especially loved to walk the beach collecting seashells. Tina and her family made annual trips to the Eastern Seaboard. Her favorite destinations included the Outer Banks and Topsail Island, North Carolina and Ocean City, Maryland. Tina and Daniel were soul mates, and as children, they made their first communion together at Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport.

He was born February 5, 1985 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Albert Joseph Kastriba and Donna Marie (David) Karsnak Pandullo of North Huntingdon. Edward was a proud graduate of Norwin High School, Westmoreland Community College, and The University of Pittsburgh. He worked as a financial analyst for The University of Pittsburgh and also was owner of Heavy Weight Baits, LLC. Edward was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he loved being a dad and spending time with and coaching his son, Aiden, in various sporting teams, as well as playing fantasy football and video games together.

Patricia T. Foster (Gabauer), 79, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2020. She passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness.
Patricia was born July 9, 1941 in West Mifflin, PA. She was heavily involved with her church St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Tampa; a member of the quilting club and the lady’s prayer group. She volunteered her time when needed and will always be remembered as a kind and giving person.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Anthony Gabauer, of Glassport, PA, sister Antoinette “Toni” (Howard) Evans of Glassport, PA. She is survived by her children, Christopher (Jennifer) Foster of Lutz, FL., Jill Foster of Brandon, FL., Jennifer (Jason) Wilkinson of Boiling Springs, SC.; four grandchildren Theresa, Brian, Kayla and Cody; four great grandchildren Miranda, Addison, Krystina and Koltyn; sister Judy (Harold) King of Glassport, PA.; brothers Tom (Ruth Ann) Gabauer of York, SC., and Rick (Leslie) Gabauer of Fort Mill, SC., and serveral nieces and nephews.
“May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May Holy Mary, the angels, and all the Saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life. May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace.”
Family and friends will be received October 10, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 4:30pm at which time a blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski at Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 640 Vermont Avenue, Glassport, PA 15405. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the American Lung Association.
She will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, FL.

James D. Buck, 77, of Austin, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Sweden Valley Manor after a brief illness. Born July 25, 1943 in McKeesport, PA to James C. and Genevieve (Hudson) Buck, he worked as a Tool and Die Maker at GKN in Emporium. On March 14, 1964 James married Anne Karija, and together they shared 56 years of marriage.
James was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a longtime member of the NRA, and loved being in the outdoors of “God’s Country”. He was a beloved husband, and a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
James is survived by his wife Anne Buck of Austin; a son: Dennis (Angie) Buck of Austin; two grandchildren: Logan Plant and DeLaney Plant; and a great grandchild: Ryker Kelly.

Jenna R. Maroadi, 34, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020. She was born September 8, 1986 in Jeannette, a daughter of William and Lynn (Smalley) Maroadi. Jenna was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School, Class of 2005 where she sang in the show choir and was a member of the Norwin Band. Jenna was a full-time student at Pitt Greensburg, majoring in psycology and minoring in Spanish and Music. She was vice president of the Spanish Club, Pier Leader at Pitt and made Dean's list for two years. She enjoyed singing and acting and sang in Young Frankenstein at Pitt Greensburg. Jenna was an avid Trump supporter and dog lover. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rose Maroadi. Jenna is survived by her daughter, Cassidy Vehar; brother, Anthony Maroadi and his fiancee, Christina; maternal grandmother, Carol Smalley; and paternal grandfather, Bill Maroadi; best friend and father of her daughter, Josh Vehar; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
