Edward Michael Moonis, age 69, of White Oak, died Saturday, July 27, 2019.  He was born in McKeesport on December 6, 1949 and is the son of the late James Edward and Zona McCarthy Moonis. Edward served during the Vietnam Era in the Marines.  Until his retirement, he was a firefighter for the County of Allegheny which included working at Greater Pittsburgh Airport and Allegheny County Airport. His hobbies included turning some wrenches and making some sawdust.

Joseph Borrelli, 98, Life-long resident of Glassport, passed away on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born September 26th, 1920 to the late Nicolangelo and Giulia Borrelli. Joseph was the loving husband of the late Sally Sulesky. He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann (Joe) Maher of Endicott, N.Y., grandchildren: Eric (Michelle) Maher of Endicott N.Y., Beth (Tim) Fives of York, Pa., and Patrick (Shivani) Maher of Santa Barbara, California. Great-grandchildren: Julia, Ethan, Natalie, Kathryn and Joshua, and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis (Stella), Anthony (Marie), Vincent (Susie), and Nick (Marilyn), and sister Mary (Duane) Molinaro. Joe served in the Navy in the Caribbean during World War II, as a Radio Operator for the Air Control Tower. He was also previously employed at P&LE Railroad, Peoples Gas company, and owned Borrelli’s Café for 32 years in Glassport. He was a member of the Glassport American Legion, Sons of Italy (past president 3 times), and faithful member of the Queen of The Rosary Church. He was a world traveler, and he enjoyed making homemade wines, cooking, and spending time with family and friends at gatherings. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, from 12-6, at: E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10 am, at Queen Of The Rosary in Glassport, followed by interment at Saint Mary German Cemetery in McKeesport. Harry Lee Jeffers, age 78 of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born July 28, 1941 in Floreffe, he was a US Army Veteran and worked at J&L Steel's South Side Works in Pittsburgh, the Yorkshire, and McDonalds.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years Mae Ann (Lazur) Ward; his sisters Dawn Walker and Debbie Simkin; and also nieces and nephews. Ronald M. "The Old Man" Campion, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019.  He was born November 7, 1954 in Bethel Park, son of the late Vincent and Erna (Steitz) Campion.  Prior to his retirement, Ron was a music teacher for Bethel Park School District for 30 years.  He played with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and was inducted into the Festival of Music Hall of Fame.  He was a civil war enthusiast and enjoyed gardening.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew McQuiston; sister, Marie Campion; and brother, Karl Campion.  He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Pletcher Campion; son, Roland Campion and his wife, Colleen; daughters, Marie Campion and her fiance, Bradley Gillespie, Eva Campion (Michael Babilya); brother, Kevin (Linda) Campion; sisters,  Debra (Arthur) LaNoue, Nadine (Steve) Dunn, Bernadine Campion, Patrice (Todd) Krut; grandchildren, Kelly and Owen Campion; and sister-in-law, Cheri Campion.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements made by James W. Edward G Pfeil, 70, of North Huntingdon, PA, passed suddenly Friday, July 26, 2019. He served proudly in the United States Coast Guard on the Great Lakes, as Chef at the Carlton House in Pittsburgh and then in law enforcement for many years. Retirement wasn’t in his vocabulary as he remained busy with family, work and following his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. He loved his family, pets and helping others. He spent many years volunteering with the Blue Knights. He is survived by his beloved partner Shirley Zito, daughters Dana Pfeil Lynn and Kayla Pfeil Hanavan, grandson Gavin, granddaughter, Ava, father William Burks, sisters Susan, Debra, Judith and Laura, Uncle Glen Pfeil and multiple cousins. Preceded in death by mother Dolores Burks, grandparents George and Gladys Pfeil.
Celebration of Life to be a private family and friends event on Friday, August 2, 2019.

William J. “Jack” Deanhardt, Jr., 88, formerly of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully in Columbia, South Carolina, on July 27, 2019.  He was born January 31, 1931, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, son of the late William J. Deanhardt, Sr. and Edith Hendrickson Deanhardt.

Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Audrey; his son, David J. Deanhardt (Julia) of Clatskanie, Oregon; his daughter, Barbara D. Corpora (Ronald) of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Matthew (Kristen), Christian, and Miranda Corpora, Geoffrey, Austin, and Andrew Deanhardt; as well as four great-grandsons, Matthew, Samuel, Gabriel and Thomas Corpora.  He is also survived by his brother, Donald J. Deanhardt of The Villages in Florida.

After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1949, Jack attended Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, before enlisting in the United States Air Force.  Lieutenant Deanhardt proudly served for five years as a navigator/bombardier on a B56 bomber.  After leaving the service, he became an agent for Nationwide Insurance Company.  He owned and operated the Deanhardt Agency in White Oak, Pennsylvania, for 35 years.

Locke and Juanita (Wilson) Orzel Locke.  A retired Yardmaster with more than 41 years of experience with the Union Railroad, Tim was a member of the Allegheny County Transit Council.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda (Dennison) Locke; his children Timothy (Jeanne) Locke of White Oak and Jennifer (Justin) Locke of Urbana, IL; his six grandchildren James and June Leiby, Derek Tokosh, Christine Locke, and Justin and Michael Cheeseman; his sister Lucinda Tonkovic of Greer, SC; and also his nephew.

She was born to the late“James” Quattrociocchi and Jennie (Spinosa) Quattrociochi, in McKeesport on February 7, 1927.  Carm was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Sundae Cerqua. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (James) Shumaker, of Elizabeth, and son, James (Janet) Cerqua, of Clairton, grandchildren; Kristen (Michael) Nehus, of Wylie, TX, Melissa Cerqua, of Clairton and Danielle (Matthew) Jellison, of Elizabeth, and step-grandchildren, Kelli Hill of Cayucos, CA and the late James (Clint) Shumaker of Huntington Beach, CA., great grandchildren; Christina Dececco, Michelle Jellison, A.J. Dececco, Jacob Jellison, Ryan Jellison, and Tyler Jellison and step great-granddaughter Hannah Hill. Carm was preceeded in death by her brother Domenic Quattrociocchi.  She was a graduate of the Clairton High School in 1945. Carm was a previous member of St. Paulinus Church, for which she used to volunteer. She later became a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. Family and friends will be received on Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 at the funeral home, to be followed by interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
