Larry R. “Brownie” Brown, 89, of Dravosburg, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, November 14th, 2019. He was born in McKeesport Hospital on June 1st, 1930 to the late Martin and Mary Marie Kent Brown. Larry is survived by his son, Roy E. (Diana) Brown, of Palm Coast, FL, sister, Inez Schroeder, of Monongahela, grandchildren, Jennifer (Anthony) Brown-Keane, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, great-grandchildren, Saoirse and Eamonn, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Jean Pulley, and brother, Jack Brown. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard, and served as a cook while stationed in post-WWII Germany in Berchtesgaden. He was a member of the American Legion, and the First Christian Church, in Dravosburg. Larry was formerly employed as an engineer for the Union Rail Road for 35 years, as well as U.S. Steel. He enjoyed gardening, and also loved to travel. Arrangements have been entrusted to I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Angelo Guiseppe "Shoes" Schinosi passed peacefully at the Southwestern Veterans Center, on Monday, November 18, at age 88, of Glassport. Husband of Arlene (Shuster) Schinosi, father of Joe (Odile) Schinosi and Jodi (Jerry) Tyskiewicz. Grandfather to Kayla, Jake, Madeleine, Noelle, and Jean Luc. As well as an adoring uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Donna Titus, Dee Schinosi, and Hank Bonadio. Preceded in death by his parents Luigi & Angelica (Pezzano) Schinosi, his brother Louis Schinosi, sisters Louise (Corky) Tacik, Viola (Robert) Lusa, and Josephine (Tony) Rondinelli. Angelo was a United States Marine and combat Korean War Veteran. Retired from the Copperweld Corp. and Allegheny County. During his time at the Copperweld he served as a union steward and president of his local union. He also served the Glassport community as a councilman. Angelo was an usher at St. Cecilia, a member of the Sons of Italy, and the American Legion. He will be remembered most by his love, kindness and generosity to family, friends, acquaintances, and animals. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at the Southwestern Veterans Center for the past years. Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Queen of the Rosary on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11am. A celebration of his life will follow at the Sons of Italy, Glassport.

Alan W. “Skip” Hornbake Jr., 69, of North Huntingdon died Sunday November 17, 2019 at his home. He was born May 2, 1950, in Charleroi a son of the late Alan W. Sr. and Vi (Rice) Hornbake. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a senior field inspector for Bechtel Betis of West Mifflin. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, in North Huntingdon. Veteran of the Marine Corp serving during Vietnam War where he served as a “Tunnel Rat” with the First Battalion Hotel Company 226. He was a member of the Marine Corps Veterans Association and it’s Honor Guard; also a member of the White Oak VFW. Skip was an avid Penn State fan. He was a true American Patriot with a fondness for History. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Maryann Peterson. Surviving are his wife of 36 years Teresa (Garner) Hornbake; three sons Brian Smith, of San Diego, CA, Thomas Gauthier and his wife, Susan, of Gibson, Corey Hornbake and his wife Jansen, of Layfayette Hill: six grandchildren Kasie Hickman, Daniel and William Gauthier, Dillon Smith, Brantley and Jaxton Hornbake; a niece Tracie Powell and a cousin Judie White and her family. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ott funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Audrey May Riemenschneider, age 89, of White Oak, died November 14, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born May 12, 1930, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Margaret (Loeffler) Johnson and the wife of the late Clyde F. Riemenschneider, Jr.
Audrey was a woman of family and faith, she dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Sampsons Mills Presbyterian Church. Audrey was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company.

Susie Fedorovich, age 60, of McKeesport, died November 16, 2019. Born October 19, 1959, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late
Frederick and Dolly (Gwosden) Gadelmeyer.
Susie was a teacher at various levels for 30 years in the McKeesport Area School District. After retirement, she
volunteered to continue helping with the D.A.R.E. program and various other school activities. She graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree. Susie was a member of the Evangelical Congregation Church in McKeesport.

James B. McLaughlin, 101, a resident of The Palms at O'Neil, formerly of Boston, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019. He was born August 25, 1918 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Bernard and Isabel (O'Rourke) McLaughlin of Christy Park.
He was the husband of the late Betty Louise (Kiser) McLaughlin who passed away November 22, 2002. James retired from the former US Steel National Tube Works in 1980 after 43 years of service and was a member of Versailles AARP.
He was a US Army WWII Veteran. He served in the 60th Medical Detachment and for his service he received the American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Marie (Haroulakis) Bumbas, 90, of Munhall died peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2019, in John J. Kane Regional Medical Center, Glen Hazel. Born on July 5, 1929, in Duquesne she was the daughter of the Late John and Sarah (Feeney) Haroulakis. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Bumbas.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Patrick of Munhall, and Dianne Bumbas of West Mifflin, a daughter-in-law, Marcia Bumbas of Monroeville; four grandchildren, John Pulkownik of Castle Shannon, Joseph Pulkownik of Munhall, John Bumbas of Espyville, and Sarah Andrews of West Mifflin; seven great grandchildren, Dylan and Logan Pulkownik, Serena and Sienna Bumbas, Austin and Eli Kurta, and Avery Grace Williams.

Theodosia Mitchell Holmes Everette was born September 12, 1917 and departed this life on November 13, 2019.
She was the wife of the late Bruce Walter Everette, Mother of Walter Donnell Holmes and Paralee C. Holmes. God mother of the late Juan Donnell Holmes, Traci Nicole Holmes, and Edward Brian (Cyndee) Holmes. Great-Grandmother of Matthew Donnell Holmes, Great Great Grandmother of Kemori Holmes, Blaise Holmes, and Kingston Holmes.
She was a faithful member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church for many years. She was previously President of the D.H. Pressley Missionary where she remained a faithful member until her death.

Unika Lynn Williams, 43, of McKeesport departed this side of heaven peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019 at AHN Jefferson Hospital.
Unika was born March 23, 1976, daughter of the late Willie H. Williams Sr. and Georgette Brice Williams.
Unika was an active and faithful member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church until her health failed her. She was a former member of the caroletts, and a member of the Jr Usher Board. She also studied hard and received her Associate's Degree.

Michael D. Gach, age 72, of McKeesport, died November 11, 2019, at UPMC McKeesport. Born December 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Evans) Gach and was the husband of Donna L. Byrne.
Michael was a retired security guard. He was a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of AMVETS and the McKeesport Lion's Club. Michael enjoyed oldies music, Pittsburgh sports, and he especially enjoyed fishing at Pymatuning Lake.

Barbara K. Evans, age 68 of North Huntingdon and formerly of Elizabeth Twp., passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, November 15, 2019. Born March 3, 1951 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew John and Helen (Reed) Kish. A graduate of Elizabeth Forward HS and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Barbara worked as a teacher for the McKeesport School District and was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon. In her spare time, she loved to cross-stitch and crochet, garden, dance, and was an active participant with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Most of all though, Barbara was committed to her family and loved to spend time with her children and be "Meme" to her adoring grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Pat Evans; her children Laura (Kevin) Ward of Gibsonia, Brian (Theresa) Evans of North Huntingdon, Maggie (Brian) Carlton of North Huntingdon, and Elizabeth (Adam) Holy of Valencia; her grandchildren Benjamin and Zachary Ward, Katelyn and Madelyn Evans, and Miles Carlton; her siblings Ruthan (Paul) Rodibaugh of Elizabeth Twp. and Reed (Colleen) Kish of Columbus, OH; and also many cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Louise A. Rees, age 107, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was born October 28, 1912, a daughter of the late Louis and Zella Rees. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McKeesport was a teachers aid for over 20 years in the Allentown area before retiring.
She is survived by her nephews George Thompson, David Thompson, John Gorman and Kevin Gorman; nieces Susan O’Neil, Terrie O’Neil and Canise Wright; and many great nieces and nephews.
