Marlene J. Straub, age 93, of White Oak, formerly of West Mifflin, died peacefully on September 26, 2025, at her home. Born April 2, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Anna (Barron) Shivey and the wife of the late John Jacob Straub for over 40 years.

Michael Leyland Simmons, 62 of Clairton, Pennsylvania, was born August 26, 1963, in McKeesport, PA. He was the son of the late Sylvester and Marion Singleton Simmons.
Michael attended school and graduated from McKeesport School District. After graduation, he worked for various places of employment; his most recent employment was with Mon Yough Community in the Housekeeping Department
Michael enjoyed watching the cooking channel, playing cards, and softball for the McKeesport All-Stars Team.

Born in Jefferson County, Alabama, he was the son of the late Thomas and Theodore (Ray) Frazier.
Frank received his formal education at Talladega Boarding School for the Deaf. He moved to Pennsylvania in the 1960's.
He was employed by Fashion Bug, Charming Shoppes, Inc. for twenty five years. He retired in December, 1996. After that, he became employed for the Burlington Coat Factory in January, 1997.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of the Deaf in Wilkinsburg.
Frank is the father of Sheryl Ann Frazier of Alabama and the late Frank Frazier Jr.
He is the uncle of Angela Trivers of Inglewood, CA, Patricia (Harold) Palmore of Birmingham, AL and Tyese and Tracy Frazier of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gladys F. Trivers, Tom Frazier Jr., Wilbert "Jack" Frazier and Melvin Hayes and his ex-wife Katherine Pettaway.
There is no visitation or services scheduled currently. Burial will take place in McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery, 1608 5th Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132.

Marianne Morsey, 71, of Harwick passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was born in McKeesport on January 16, 1954 as the fifth child to the late Bernard George and Eileen Doris (Welcker) Morsey. As a baby, Marianne was stricken by viral encephalitis, changing her life and that of her family forever. In Spite of numerous hospital stays, Mare was a happy, sweet girl. She loved trains and always reminded everyone to "stay off the tracks" if she heard one approaching. She was also a music lover. The Beatles, Elvis, the Monkeys, and Tom Jones were just a few artists that were always on the record player - morning to night. After a spinal injury, Mare spent 30 years at Passavant Homes in Harwick. There were many wonderful caregivers who surrounded her with love through all of her difficult days. The family would like the thank all of you for loving their "Mare-Bear."

Laura Louise Walker, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025. She was born in McKeesport, PA, on March 13, 1953, to the late Robert Walker and Viola (Kelly) Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Robert W. Anderson, and her sister-in-law, Delores (Leggett) Anderson.
Laura was a graduate of McKeesport Area High School and obtained a nursing degree from Community College of Allegheny County.
She worked as a registered nurse for 35 years. She held various positions throughout the field, starting at Children's Hospital, working with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit, to the operating rooms of Presby, McKeesport, and Shadyside Hospital, and various other positions. She retired from UPMC East in Monroeville in 2016.

Rebecca (Sabo) Naderi, 52, of Freeport, Long Island, NY, passed away on Monday September 29, 2025. She was born on August 5, 1973 in McKeesport and grew up in Irwin, where she belonged to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was the daughter of the late John and Joan (Woodring) Sabo. She is survived by her son, Robert Naderi of Jeanette; uncle, Doug (Nancy) Woodring of White Oak; aunt, Coralei Kartesz of Wexford and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Sabo. Marcia Marie Felkay, 87, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Lvov, Poland on October 16, 1937 to the late Rudolf and Klara (Wasserman) Stand. As a child, Marcia immigrated to Norway after the Second World War and waited over 10 years before she was able to ultimately immigrate to the United States in 1956. Shortly after coming to America she met her late husband, Andrew Felkay at Brooklyn College where they both obtained their bachelor degrees. She went on to attend Kutztown University obtaining a Masters degree in counselling. She worked over three decades at a women's shelter (Turning Point of Lehigh Valley). providing therapy to victims of domestic violence.. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, travelling, completing NY Times crossword puzzles and participating in book clubs and creative writing groups. After her husband of 60 years Andrew passed away on June 2, 2021, Marcia moved to South Hills Square Retirement Resort in Castle Shannon where she made many new friends.

Connie L. Cipicchio, age 87, of McKeesport, passed away at home on September 29, 2025. Born March 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Rollin and Blanche (Hatch) Sisley and the beloved wife of Dominick Cipicchio for 65 years. A treasured member of Beulah Park United Methodist Church, Connie embodied her faith and made significant contributions to the community in numerous ways. She joyfully participated in church activities, especially making apple dumplings and helping her husband during spaghetti dinners. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Throughout her life, Connie found fulfillment in her work at Kennywood Park and McKeesport Daycare, where she nurtured and cared for young children. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Con" to Courtney and Bryce Patterson, whose lives she enriched with her love and guidance. Connie had a passion for travel, often journeying across the country to attend Pitt away games. She relished her casino trips and the cherished get-togethers with her nieces and nephews, always bringing laughter and love to the table. Gardening was another of Connie's passions; her beautiful yard reflected her dedication and love for nature. The light of her life, however, were her grandsons, who brought her immense joy and pride. Connie lived for her grandsons, celebrating their milestones and attending their sporting events and graduations with unwavering enthusiasm.
