Her work was not merely a job; it was a profound expression of her caring nature, and it troubled her deeply when illness kept her from doing what she loved.  Irene was a vibrant community member and was actively involved with the Moose Lodge in East McKeesport. Her laughter echoed in the hearts of those who knew her, often accompanied by the sweet sounds of Donny Osmond's music, which she adored. Shopping for deals brought her excitement, exemplifying her spirited personality and love for life.  Irene's greatest pride and joy were her family, particularly her beloved daughter, Jodi Anderson, and her devoted mother, Jean Ackerman.
