Alice M. Yuhas, 89, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at home. She was born July 30, 1930 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Sophia (Balint) Sabolcik. She was the wife of the late John J. Yuhas who passed away November 4, 2014. Alice was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish in White Oak since 1965. She was a secretary for US Steel District 19 and the former Rainbow Gardens Amusement Park in White Oak. She loved sewing, cooking, baking and crafting.

Margaret Jane Lancaster, 76, of McKeesport, passed away in the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born March 27, 1944 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Albert Lancaster and Bertha (Derr)  Lancaster Thomas. She was a member of Kephart United Methodist Church in McKeesport and had worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co. Warehouse in Christy Park and the former Isaly's in Southland and White Oak. It was not unusual for Margaret to call with prayer requests. She loved to spend time on the phone, praying with her prayer partners. Margaret had her own card ministry.

James A. Luft Jr., 59, of Herminie, lost his battle to cancer on May 26, 2020.  He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 21, 1961 in Greensburg, son of the late James and Dolores (Cook) Luft.  Jim was a graduate of Yough Senior High School Class of 1979 and was the owner operator of Luft's Auto & Truck Repairs.  Jim enjoyed motocross, fishing and his dogs, Shelby and Nova; and cats Sophie and Sneezy.  He is survived by his wife, Karen (Thompson) Luft; sons, Tyler and Travis Luft; daughter, Alexis Gasparro and her husband, Chad; brothers, Tim and Mark Luft; sisters, Cheryl (David) George and Lisa Ross.  Visitation and service are private.  Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Roberta M. Davis

Roberta M. Davis, 84 of McKeesport died May 25, 2020.  She went to college in E. Providence, RI at Zion Bible Institute.  Upon completion, she worked at a church in Portsmouth NH.  In 1960 her marriage to George Hockhousen led them to Springfield MO where she was employed at the Assembly of God Headquarters.  Later they moved to E. Providence, RI and were employed at Zion Bible Institute where she taught various subjects.  In 1985 Roberta moved into the elementry education level of ministry, teaching Kindergarten and first grade.  When her husband of 35 years died the Lord sent another Christian friend along, they were married Nov. 1995.  In addition to her teaching ministry she was an ordained minister and co pastored several churches with her husband.  She was saved at an early age and has dedicated her life to the Lord's work.  After her divorce in 2004, Roberta lived with her daughter, Deborah in Boca Raton FL for 8 years.  Roberta moved home to McKeesport in 2012 to be near her siblings.  She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (John) Mireles and son George (Pam) Hockhousen; grandchildren Michael, Stephen and Matthew Wilson, Sarah Downs and Rachel Jones; great grandchildren Ellie Downs and Maddie Wilson; sisters Pam Jones, Ardele Lockwood and Esther Stevenson and brothers David and Don Castor.  Roberta was a member of Glassport Assembly of God Church and was a girl scout leader and a den mother for the Boy Scouts.  A celebration of her life will be held at Glassport Assembly of God Church on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.

Jane (Gilmore) Keller passed peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2020 with her family by her side.

Jane was a retired real estate agent, married the love of her life (Harry Keller) during WWII and that love story lasted nearly 75 years, but most of all she was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Jane was also preceded in passing by her sons;  Richard, Gary and Dean Keller. She was the beloved grandmother to Deborah Keller Maxson (Tom), Melissa Keller Ragan (Dave), Holly Keller Moul (Darren), Heather Keller-Garrett (Don), and Gary Keller; adored by her great-grandchildren D. Chief Richard S. “Lefty” Adams age 79, of Duquesne, on May 22, 2020 at UPMC McKeesport. Born on August 13, 1940, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Stephen & Josephine (Melkon) Adams.  He was a Duquesne Police officer for 51 years serving as a Patrolman, Detective, Lieutenant, Assistant Chief, founding member of the City’s K-9 Unit and retiring as the Chief of Police in 2016.  He was a lifetime member of F.O.P. Lodge #91, an avid softball player, started the Holy Name softball team in the mid 1980’s, loved to dance and watch his grandchildren participate in sports and his house and pool were always open to friends and neighbors. He was the husband of the late Judiann “Judy” (Harris) Adams.  He is survived by children Stephen (Rhonda) Adams of Scott Twp., Richard Scott (Vicky) Adams of Duquesne, Bethany Adams of West Mifflin, and Candice (Rick) Manspeaker of West Mifflin; grandchildren Amelia Adams, Abigail Adams, Ashton Adams, Aaron Adams, Autumn Adams, Avi Adams, Trey & Trent Manspeaker; sister Gloria Adams-Garbart (late Glenn) of South Fayette.
