Marianne C. Lewonas, age 75 of Clairton, passed away at home on Monday, May 4, 2020.  Born August 2, 1944 in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Anna (Balaban) Duymic.  A devout and attending member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Marianne worked for many years at Kaufmann's (later Macy's) in Century III Mall, later working as a greeter at Sam's Club, all in West Mifflin.  She was also very proud of her Croatian heritage, shown with her involvement and past-presidency in the Duquesne Junior Tamburitzans and membership in the CFU Lodge #248, Clairton.  Most importantly, she was a focused and loving mother and grandmother...until her great-grandchildren came along.  Besides her parents, Marianne was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Kenneth Lewonas, who passed away on September 26, 2013, and her brother Matthew (Natalie) Duymic.  She is survived by her children Lea (Scott) Smith of Pleasant Hills and David (Kimberly) Lewonas of Elizabeth; her grandchildren Rachel (Michael) Piscitelli and Meagan Lewonas; her great-grandchildren Gianna and Lorenzo Piscitelli; and also nieces and nephews.

Harry attended the Boston United Methodist Church, New Hope assembly, and Fellowship Alliance. He was proprietor of the former Harry's Place in Elizabeth Township and was previously a Draftsman. He was a US Army Veteran , a former Boy Scout Leader and a former volunteer fireman in Lincoln Borough. He was a graduate of Penn State University.

Potemra, age 81 of Cheswick and formerly of Elizabeth Twp. and Lexington, OK, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 in UPMC Shadyside.  Born February 3, 1939 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late George and Veronica (Hytovik) Baran.  A member of both St. Michael's Parish in Elizabeth Twp. and Our Lady of Victory Parish in Harwick, Marlene worked at nursing homes as a social services director, mostly at Lexington Nursing Home in Oklahoma.  She is survived by her husband Thomas S. Potemra; her children Cynthia (William, III) Spade of Cheswick, Thomas A. Potemra of Norman, OK, and Steven G. (Tina) Potemra of Purcell, OK; grandchildren Amanda (Christopher) Mulcahey of Naples, FL, William , IV and Michael Spade, both of Pittsburgh, Tiffany (Franklin) Stuck of Norman, OK, Kyle Marie Potemra of Cass City, MI, James Nauman of Shawnee, OK, Matthew and Jesse Nauman of Byers, OK, and Michelle (Matthew) Calvert of Tuttle, OK; great-grandchildren Colin and Andrew Mulchaey, Isaac Stuck, Kayden and Ethan Etter, Olivia and Jackson Nauman, and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Marlene is preceded in death by her brother George Baran and her granddaughter Leeann Potemra.

Noma Faye (West) Mochtyak passed away May 3, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Mochtyak (April 7, 2020) and her son Michael J. Mochtyak, as well as her parents Earl and Lena West and brother Earl Francis West.  Faye loved being a stay at home mom and raising her daughters and was the owner of the Americanettes Marching Corp. with her husband.  She is survived by her daughters Denise (Terry) Skelley and Darlene (Jim) Behanna; grandchildren Tara (Doug) Czekaj, Roy (Angela) Behanna, Brett (Rachel) Skelley, Kristy (Joe) Behanna and Evan (Michelle) Skelley; also 4 great grandchildren.  Her daughters would like to express their thanks to Three Rivers Hospice for their compassionate care given to both their parents, especially Rachel, Ellen and Kelly.  There will be no visitation due to Faye's request. Philip Stewart Slaugh, on May 1, 2020, age 88, son of the late William Edward and Pearl Schiffer Slaugh, brother of the late Lawrence Andrew Slaugh.  Survived by wife Carolyn Ferguson Slaugh and son Donald William Slaugh.  Philip was a graduate of what is now Carnegie Mellon University with three degrees in music and education.  A retired music teacher with the West Mifflin Area School District, he was a member and past president of the Pittsburgh Musicians Union.  Phil played string bass with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, and many church and community concerts, especially the McKeesport Symphony.  Due to the pandemic there will be no visitation, and private burial.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC  20090-6011 or to the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Homestead in care of Lisa Toth, 517 Brierly Lane, Munhall, PA  15120.  Funeral arrangements are in charge of Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132.

 Anna M. Borkowski, 94, of Glassport, died peacefully at the home of her daughter Monica and son-in-law, Joseph Gatchie on April 30,2020.  She was born Jan. 4, 1926 in Taylor, Pa.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Falatko) Super.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Borkowski.  She was preceded in death by her brother Monsignor Joseph Super and sister Susan Vitullo.  Anna is survived by her daughter Monica (Joseph) Gatchie of Glassport, Pa, Joseph (Peggy) Borkowski of Boyers, Pa, John (Joni) Borkowski of Port Vue, Pa and Edward (the late Karen) Borkowski of Stanhope, NJ; also 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Anna worked during WWII at National Tube McKeesport and Christy Park McKeesport.  She was co-owner of Super's Beauty Shop with her sister Sue in Glassport.  In 1973, Anna worked for Equibank's proof department in McKeesport.  She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish in Glassport, Christian Mothers Society and Rosary Society.  We would like to give a special thanks to Gallagher Hospice for their kind, compassionate and loving care.  Also, a special thank you to Theresa and her team at Senior Care McKeesport.  Due to the strict guidelines we must adhere to at this crucial time, visitation will be private.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.  In lieu  of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Pa 15017.

Adele Marie Webb, 89, died April 23, 2020. Some called her Del and others Ms. Webb, but all knew her as a loving, generous force of nature despite her often quiet demeanor.

Adele Webb was a New Orleans, La., native who migrated north to Clairton, Pa., to raise her family. She met her husband English Webb Jr., while he was studying at Xavier University School of Pharmacology. English and Adele married May 13, 1950 and was married for 66 years. Adele is survived by three sons, English, Joseph, Isaac and three daughters, Alita, Julie and Treena.
