John “Sidekick” Jordan, age 45, of McKeesport, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at his home.  He was born in McKeesport on May 13, 1974 and is the son of Joseph C. Jordan, Sr. of White Oak and Wilma Emerick Hatridge of McKeesport. John was employed by JG Construction Company in Clairton.  He was a good, hardworking family man who loved working on cars, painting, listening to music, apending time with his family and playing video games with his children and stepchildren. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Danielle Haas of McKeesport, her son William Jr. and daughter Journei. His eldest daughter Samantha Marie Jordan of Smock, PA as well as her children Ania Marie, Kaylum Garret, and Karma Kathleen. His brothers, Dominic (Ashley) Jordan of South Carolina, Joseph (Tammy Hofmiester) Jordan, Jr. of West Mifflin, Angelo Jordan of McKeesport; sister, Charity Jordan; stepbrothers, Lance McPherson of Elizabeth, Robert Jordan of McKeesport, Steven Jordan of Texas; also, many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Hope Jordan Egenlauf as well as her four children whom he loved dearly.

Jeffrey Harold Conley

Jeffrey Harold Conley, 66, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2020 at Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg after his strong battle with cancer.  Jeffrey lived in West Mifflin, PA.  He was born on June 22, 1953, in Pittsburgh, to the late Lucille and James Conley.  Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene (Deverts) Conley and his 4 children, Heather Conley, Amber Conley, Colleen (Conley) Blissman and Brian Conley.  He was also adored by his three grandchildren USMC LCpl  Derek O’Neal, Dustin Rigby & Chloe Blissman. He is survived by his two brothers and sister Les Conley, Kevin Conley, and Maureen Rostek, along with his nieces and nephews.  He loved spending time with his family, watching Steeler and Penguin games, celebrating holidays and he  was always there to lend a helping hand.

Reynold E. Hamadock, age 95, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital. An Air Force veteran serving during World War II, he retired after 48 years as personnel manager for Consolidation Coal Co. in Elizabeth. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., a life member of Alonzo Weigel American Legion Post 553 in Elizabeth, and the Kasta Uveges VFW Post 7632 in Blaine Hill.

Born April 9, 1925 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late John and Cecelia (Stragand) Hamadock. He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Sis" (Van Fosson) Hamadock; daughter, Cede (Anton) Cavalier of Elizabeth; son, R. Gregory (Pascale) Hamadock of Chantilly, VA; brother, Frank (Susan) Hamadock of Cibolo, TX; grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer) Cavalier of Elizabeth Twp., Gel Cavalier of Elizabeth and Liz Hamadock of New York, NY; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Amelia Cavalier; also, nieces and nephews.

William John Betters, 95, of Florida, formerly of Port Vue, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, FL.  He was born  December 1, 1924 in Port Vue, a son of the late Martin and Eva Jacobs Betters. 

Prior to his retirement, Bill was a self-employed plumber and contractor and was a veteran of the US Army Air Force having served during WWII.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Kurkoski Betters; and son, William John Betters Jr.  He is survived by his son, Doug Betters; daughter, Dianne Quincy and her husband, Carey; grandchildren, Bree Betters Teale and her husband, Huw, Samantha Betters, Katrina Betters; and grandsons, Dylan and Jonathan Teale.  Services are private.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Eugene Belko, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at his home.  He was born February 8, 1933 in Braddock, a son of the late Andrew and Stella Belko.  Prior to his retirement, Eugene was an electrician for US Steel and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War Era.  He was a graduate and football star of Braddock Senior High School in the early '50's, and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  Eugene was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, and enjoyed watching western movies and visiting the casinos and playing numbers.

Molnar, 78, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 10, 1941 in West Mifflin, a son of the late Julius and Gazella Molnar.  Prior to his retirement, Ron was a repair technician for Sears with 50 years of service, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.  He enjoyed hunting, and spending time at hunting camp and refurbishing old farm tractors.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley D. Violet Mae Carlett, 92, was called to heaven on Monday, May 4, 2020.  Vi was born October 6, 1927, in Warren, Pennsylvania.  In addition to her parents and a sister, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allan, and son, David.  Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Pogue (Mark) and grandchildren, Lauren and Nathan.  Also surviving are brother-in-law, Owen Ferguson and nephew, Scott Ferguson (Michelle), and great nieces Chloe and Cara.  Vi graduated from Warren High School, Eastern Nazarene College and The Pennsylvania State University.   She taught first grade in the Warren County School District for 34 years.  She loved teaching children to read.  Vi was a published author writing children's reading materials for the American Book Company.  She was also a successful business woman and owner of Vi's Candy Nook.  Vi professed her life to Christ at an early age.  She was a member of the Warren First Church of the Nazarene and most recently the Norwin Church of the Nazarene.

Aaron White was born on March 26, 1943 to the late John Thomas and Anna Lou White. He peacefully passed away in his home on April 27, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his brother’s Andrew White, John White and sister Mary (White) Dumas.

Aaron was a graduate of Clairton High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps for four years. He served a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. After his time in the Marine Corps, he was a former police officer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, D.C. Aaron enjoyed playing cards and loved reading novels. He was a man of many talents, one of them included fixing cars.

Wilson Jefferson Reaves, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, departed this life in AHN Jefferson Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Wilson was born May 10, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Fredrick O. Jefferson and Florine R. Macklin Jefferson. He was the second of four children. His son, Wilson Jefferson Reaves III; daughter, Stacie Ann Reaves; brother, Elbert, and sister, Charmaine McCormick, preceded him in death.

Wilson, affectionately known as Buzzy or Buzz, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was educated in the Philadelphia Public Schools.  He joined the Air Force in 1956. After returning home, he worked several jobs until he became a mail handler for the U. S. Postal Service; from there he retired. Buzz later met and married Wilma J. Ellis of Clairton, PA. Both were avid bowlers and together won many tournaments and trophies.

Nancy A. Krupa, age 77, of Monroeville; formerly of East McKeesport and Corry, PA passed away on May 2, 2020 after a nine-year battle of mental and physical decline due to Alzheimer’s disease. Born March 28, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Walter & Gladys Krupa. Nancy and her husband, Eugene “Red” Haynes owned and worked at their company, Kory Builders, as general contractors for 27 years. Initially, Nancy physically worked alongside her husband on the jobs; but as the company grew, she worked in the office managing the company’s operations and overseeing the jobs. During that time, Nancy was an active member of the East Allegheny Business Association and also on the board. Nancy was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed working in the man’s world of construction. Nancy and Red also enjoyed traveling across the country on their motorcycles and were married for 33 years until Red’s death in 2006.

An Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of St. Thomas A’ Becket Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills, the Knights of Columbus, and a lifetime member of Brentwood VFW Post 1810. Born May 31, 1941 in Uniontown, he was a son of the late Joseph Leo and Ada Catherine (Moxley) O’Brien. He is survived by his partner of 46 years, David A. Lycett of Pleasant Hills; sisters, Mary Ann Welc of Mt. Pleasant and Sheila O’Brien Greer of Connellsville; brothers, Patrick and Jim O’Brien, both of Uniontown; also, nieces and nephews. She was born April 2, 1927 in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late Gustave and Mary Johnson Lindberg. Dorothy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, East McKeesport, Lutheran Church Women, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 472, Past Matron in Aliquippa 430 and White Oak AARP. Gary-Keane and her children Matthew, Kerry, Jr., Josephine, and Julianna Keane, Richard L. (Susan) Gary Jr and his children Elise and Richie Gary, Joseph A. (Rachel) Gary and his child Nihasa Gary, and Tony M. (Theresa) Gary and his children Tony, Jr., Tyler Gary and Albert Warburton-Gary; his brothers John M., Donald, and George Gary; and also nieces and nephews.  Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and, more than anything else, spending time with his family.
