Philip Stewart Slaugh, on May 1, 2020, age 88, son of the late William Edward and Pearl Schiffer Slaugh, brother of the late Lawrence Andrew Slaugh.  Survived by wife Carolyn Ferguson Slaugh and son Donald William Slaugh.  Philip was a graduate of what is now Carnegie Mellon University with three degrees in music and education.  A retired music teacher with the West Mifflin Area School District, he was a member and past president of the Pittsburgh Musicians Union.  Phil played string bass with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, and many church and community concerts, especially the McKeesport Symphony.  Due to the pandemic there will be no visitation, and private burial.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC  20090-6011 or to the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Homestead in care of Lisa Toth, 517 Brierly Lane, Munhall, PA  15120.  Funeral arrangements are in charge of Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132.

 Anna M. Borkowski, 94, of Glassport, died peacefully at the home of her daughter Monica and son-in-law, Joseph Gatchie on April 30,2020.  She was born Jan. 4, 1926 in Taylor, Pa.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Falatko) Super.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Borkowski.  She was preceded in death by her brother Monsignor Joseph Super and sister Susan Vitullo.  Anna is survived by her daughter Monica (Joseph) Gatchie of Glassport, Pa, Joseph (Peggy) Borkowski of Boyers, Pa, John (Joni) Borkowski of Port Vue, Pa and Edward (the late Karen) Borkowski of Stanhope, NJ; also 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Anna worked during WWII at National Tube McKeesport and Christy Park McKeesport.  She was co-owner of Super's Beauty Shop with her sister Sue in Glassport.  In 1973, Anna worked for Equibank's proof department in McKeesport.  She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish in Glassport, Christian Mothers Society and Rosary Society.  We would like to give a special thanks to Gallagher Hospice for their kind, compassionate and loving care.  Also, a special thank you to Theresa and her team at Senior Care McKeesport.  Due to the strict guidelines we must adhere to at this crucial time, visitation will be private.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.  In lieu  of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Pa 15017.

Adele Webb was a New Orleans, La., native who migrated north to Clairton, Pa., to raise her family. She met her husband English Webb Jr., while he was studying at Xavier University School of Pharmacology. English and Adele married May 13, 1950 and was married for 66 years. Adele is survived by three sons, English, Joseph, Isaac and three daughters, Alita, Julie and Treena.

Dawn Nikole Lea Trainer 28, of McKeesport passed away unexpectedly due to heart failure complications on April 26, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in McKeesport on June 26, 1991 to her loving parents Donald Leonard Trainer of Turtle Creek and Rhonda (Ben) Cochran of Grover N.C. She was the loving partner to Sherwood Saunders of McKeesport to whom she often referred to as the love of her life. Dawn is survived by her beautiful daughter Hailey Jayde Trainer as well as her brothers Daniel Abell of Greentree, Paris Stevens of Grover N.C and Parker Stevens of Grover N.C. Dawn also leaves behind her beloved grandfather Ken Trainer of Dravosburg, her aunt Carol Daugherty (her favorite) of PortVue, her uncle John McGarrity of Tenth Ward, and partner in crime her cousin Destiny Daugherty of PortVue as well as many more beloved family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Charlotte Trainer and Uncle Chester Daugherty Jr. Some of Dawns favorite things to do were being on social media, and photography. She immensely loved spending time with her family and friends especially her daughter, she could always find a way to make you laugh. Private services have been entrusted to S.M. A 1963 graduate of Clairton High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he was a member of Wilson Presbyterian Church in Clairton. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his pup, Whooly.

He belonged to many gardening, horticulture, and scientific groups including Men's Gardening Club of Pittsburgh, Daylily Society, Penn State Horticulture, Phipps Conservatory, and many more.
