Lucille Ann Michaels Blake, 73 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on Monday, May 3rd, 2021. She was born in West Mifflin on November 15, 1947 to the late Gustave and Anna Mae Bach Michaels. Lucille was the loving wife of over 50 years to the late Gary E. Blake.
She is survived by her loving daughter Melody A. Blake and her beloved son-in-law and caregiver Christopher Volpe as well as many nieces and nephews and her loving puppies Daisy and Molly. Lucille was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Robert, John, and Ronald Michaels.
She was a member of the Saint Paulinus congregation in Clairton. Lucille loved her family dearly and touched many lives. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and her nightly milkshakes that Christopher brought to her. She was an avid bingo player and loved trips to the casino with her husband and brothers. She also enjoyed needlework and crocheting.
However, she was best known for the abundant amounts of Christmas cookies she would bake every year for her beloved family. She graduated from Clairton High School in 1966 and was employed by J. Edward Connelly and Associates.

Christopher James “Rave” Millington, 33, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West Mifflin and New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in Pittsburgh following a tragic accident. He was born on October 16, 1987, in Pittsburgh to the surviving Scott P. Millington and Karin M. Cain. Christopher is survived by his parents Scott P. Millington of Glassport and Karin Cain of Brentwood. He also leaves behind his daughter Shayla R. Millington of Brentwood, who Christopher was incredibly proud of and he considered his greatest achievement, his sister Amandia (John) Millington of Munhall, nephew Johnny, many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, and his dogs, Sadie, Kitty, and Icey. Christopher was preceded in death by his brother Scotty Albert Millington. He was a graduate of the Lawrence County Vo-Tech, was a life member of the V.F.W, enjoyed shooting pool, riding his bike, going fishing, darts, playing Play Station, but most of all he loved and cared for all of his family and will forever be remembered as having a big heart overflowing with compassion. He took special care to take care of his mother who will forever dearly miss him, he was her support who was always there to help her when it was needed. Christopher loved to work and worked for himself as an independent contractor doing construction.

He is survived by his wife Luanne, his sons Thomas (Stacey) Burger, Robert Goldberg, Clinton (Nicole) Goldberg, Michael Goldberg, and Eric (Ashlee) Goldberg, as well as his daughters Dana (Robert) Burger-Carney, Lori Goldberg-Moninger, Erin (Rob) Goldberg, and Holly (Chevy) Goldberg. Linda Lee Kelley, 58, of Glassport passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at home. She was born in McKeesport on September 23, 1962 to the late Howard Kelley and Dorothy, Rack, Kelley. Jerry Anthony Angotti, 82 of Clairton passed away on Tuesday April 6
th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Clairton on February 20
th, 1939 to the late John and Norma Swickert Angotti. Jerry was the loving husband of 62 years to Nancy L. Biddle Angotti. He is survived by his wife Nancy Angotti of Clairton, his sons Jerry (Pam) Angotti of Jefferson Boro, Boyd (Lori) Angotti of Milton W.V. his daughter Lisa Seiling of Clairton, grandchildren Rob, Jared, Dean, Jeremy, greatgrandchildren Dean, Blake, Mason, and his sister Jonette (Robert) Edkins of Pleasant Hills. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Dellapenna. He was a member of the Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Clairton. He was a member of the U.S. Navy in Korea through 1956-1960 and worked as a Police Officer for the City of Clairton and worked as a Correctional Officer at West Penitentiary Prison. Jeffrey Scott Turpyn, 58, of McKeesport, formerly of Monongahela passed away on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital. He was born in Willingboro N.J. on November 12th, 1962 to the late Maurice R. and Ethel M. Turpyn. Jeffrey was the loving husband of 4 years to Dorothy M. Chamets Turpyn.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Turpyn of McKeesport, his son Kevin A. Turpyn of Wilmington N.C., daughters Madison E. Turpyn of Finleyville PA, Jordan E. Turpyn of Monongahela PA, sister Michelle Williams of West Newton, brother Greg S. (Veronica) Turpyn of Moorestown N.J., niece Tiffany A. Williams and great-niece Brooklynn Williams-Maszkiewicz. Jeffrey joined the Navy in 1983 and served for four years.
He worked as a home inspector for the Home Team Inspection Service in Bethel Park doing HVAC. He graduated from John K Ossi Vo-tech from Medford, N.J. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins, and Nascar, working on jeeps, and spending time with his family.

(Destiny Houser) Harbert Jr. of Glassport, stepdaughter Krista Wampler of McKeesport, grandchildren Aniyah Harbert, Makiah Harbert, Mason Harbert, Christopher Harbert, James Clark, Kamera Clark, brothers William (Anne Marie) Harbert of Lake Murrey S.C. Michael (Claudette) Harbert of McKeesport, Dante Harbert of Irwin, sisters Robin Anderson of Wagner S.C. and Sharon (Chad) Snowdon of Myrtle Beach S.C. Elmer was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Carter Harbert and grandchild Cameron Houser. Elmer was a graduate of McKeesport High School and worked as a commercially licensed truck driver and served in the Army. He enjoyed visiting parks and most of all enjoyed spending time with his son and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday March 14th, 2021 at E.C. Peggy Ann Lightfoot Stokes, 66, of Glassport, formerly of Crosby, TX, passed away on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at the Baptist Homes Society in Pittsburgh. She was born in Port Neches, Texas on July 7th, 1954 to the late Luke and Hazel Lightfoot. Peggy was the loving wife of 46 years to Rodney D. Stokes, of Glassport.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Stokes of Glassport, daughter, Paige (Kevin) Strasbaugh, of Churchill, brother, Roy Lightfoot, of Texas, sister, Betty Parmer, of Conroe, TX, as well as nieces and nephews.
She was a 1972 graduate of Nederland High School in Texas, and spent fifteen years working as a Nurse’s Aid for Home Instead, the Jewish Association on Aging and other nursing and care centers in the Pittsburgh area. Peggy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being passenger on many motorcycle rides with her husband.

Barbara Anne Perichak Penman, 79 of Glassport formerly of White Oak, passed away on Friday February 26th, 2021 at her home. She was born in Braddock on July 31st, 1941 to the late Martin and Anne Ragan Perichak. Barbara was the loving wife of forty-eight years to the late James Penman.
She is survived by her children James T. Penman of Davidson N.C, William N. Penman of Tampa FL, Donald M. (Stacy) Penman of McKeesport, Robert M. (Yvonne) Penman of Glassport, and Lisa A. (Shawn) Pendzich of Pittsburgh, her sister Juanita McFeeters of Franklinville N.J. and niece Martie Campbell, and many grandchildren and some great grandchildren. Barbara graduated from Scott High School. She also attended CCAC and Duffs Business School.
Barbara worked early in her career as a dental assistant then transitioned into being a nurse’s aide for the elderly. She also enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, reading novels, gardening, and most of all cherishing her beloved stamp collection.

He was born in Bunola, PA on May 8th, 1928 to the late Lawrence D. and Edna Georgina McCay Maple. Lawrence Gray Maple was the loving husband of 71 years to Gloria Maple. He is survived by his children Larry (Karen) Maple of Finleyville, Ginger Begg of Saint Cloud Florida, Gail (Phillip) Marshman of Pleasant Hills, Janet (Dan) Klingensmith of Clairton, 11 grandchildren Alisha Van Bibber, John Maple, Sky Begg, Jordan Begg, Dallas Begg, Chandler Begg, Brittany Hugley, Emily Lander, Conor Marshman Joshua Klingensmith, and Kasey Wright followed by 10 great-grandchildren. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and singing with family. Lawrence loved looking at all the beauty of Gods creations, he got to know the trees, birds, and flowers. Lois (Kuskie) Basch, 93, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with her heavenly savior on February 15th, 2021. She graduated from Clairton High School in 1945. She attended Duff’s Business School and worked as a proofreader for the Daily News of McKeesport. She was married to the love of her life, Edward Basch for almost 47 years before his passing. Lois and Eddie lived and raised their family in Jefferson Hills. They were both active members of Pine Run Methodist Church in Clairton, PA where they served as lay speakers and beloved church members. Lois lived a very full life, keeping her true passions of her faith in the lord and her family and friends at the forefront. She had a gift for writing poetry, which was grounded in faith and loved to write for those dear to her heart. Card playing, games, and sports- especially fishing were lifelong pastimes. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who loved the Pitt Panthers, Steelers, and Pirates. Lois is preceded in passing by her parents, Irene and Harry Kuskie, her sisters, Mildred Basch and Dorothy Freiwald, and her beloved husband, Edward Basch. She is survived by her three daughters Patty, Cindy, Chris, five grandchildren, as well as her three great grandchildren. Services have been entrusted to S.M.
