Carol Fay (Dalton) Neyman, 89 of Dravosburg, passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on February 27th, 1933, to the late James and Leona (Mayer) Dalton. Carol was the loving wife of many years to the late Leroy Neyman, Sr. She is survived by her daughters Carolee (late James H.) Burns of White Oak, Lori (Jace) Younge of Elizabeth Township, and her sons Wayne (Twila) Neyman of Dravosburg and Leroy (Claudette) Neyman, Jr. of Elizabeth Township. Further survivors include sister Beverly LaManna of Baldwin, as well as her loving grandchildren Shanne, Wayne, Dale, Abbey, Cody, Kayla, Kerri, Dane, Dillon, Ty, and Kacie. She is additionally survived by great-grandchildren Aiden, Colton, Maddox, Easton, Spence, Sophia, Nolan, Josie, Lane, Lake, and Myka, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen McCall and brother Thomas Dalton. She enjoyed playing the organ, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, visiting her cabin in Tionesta, and playing cards. She was also known to go swimming and walking with her friends. Marsha Jean “Jeanie” (Hunt) Racan, 69 of Glassport, passed away on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at her home. She was born in Homestead on March 20th, 1953, to the late George and Jacqueline (Foster) Hunt. Marsha was the loving wife of 47 years to James G. Racan. She is survived by her husband James, son Matthew Racan of Bethel Park, daughter April Racan of Glassport, and stepson James Racan of Mount Oliver. Further survivors include sisters Darlene Hunt of Clairton and Donna (Keith) Lonzo of Munhall, as well as brothers James Hunt of Meadville, Darrell Hunt of Munhall, and George (Debbie) Hunt of West Mifflin. Further survivors include grandchildren Cayle, Elijah, Willow, Skylar, and Jobe Racan, great-grandchildren Iliana and Ilaria, as well as nieces and nephews. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Mary and Jacqueline. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her loving family. Elizabeth A. “Betty” Tachoir, 78 of Jefferson Boro, passed away on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at Baldwin Health Center. She was born in Jefferson township on November 1st, 1944 to the late Edna Grimes and Thomas Tachoir Sr. Elizabeth is survived by her brother David (Alice) Tachoir Sr. of Jefferson, niece Kathleen Campitella of Jefferson, and other nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister Ruth, and brother Thomas. She enjoyed writing and making crafts, and spending time with cats. Leon “Lee” Lomont Dorsey, 60 of Jefferson, formerly of Homestead, passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 11th, 1962, to the late Kenneth and Fannie (Bonner) Dorsey. He is survived by son Leon Mills of Pittsburgh and daughters Lona, Leelah, and Debbie Mills of Atlanta, GA, Fannie Dorsey of Pittsburgh, and Garylynn Mills of Homewood. He is further survived by sister Madeline Dorsey of Jefferson, as well as brothers Kenneth Dorsey of Penn Hills, William Dorsey of Homestead, and Montez Jones of Clairton, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and his grandchildren. Leon was preceded in death by his parents. He enjoyed painting, playing basketball, running, biking, and detailing cars. Leon was a self-employed handyman who will be remembered for his athleticism and love for music, as well as his personality. Doris “Dee” Ann (Martini) Boccardi, 70 of Jefferson Hills, formerly of McKeesport, West Mifflin, and Clairton, passed away on Friday, November 11th, 2022, at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 9th, 1952, to the late Rocco and Grace (Sommers) Martini. Doris was the loving wife to the late Donald Boccardi, Sr. She is survived by her daughters Michelle A. Lukis of West Mifflin and Rebecca M. (Dennis) Lukis-Mahoney, as well as her sister Joan Johns of Clairton. Further survivors include beloved grandchildren Zachery Lukis and Derek Mahoney, as well as nieces and nephews Steven (Monica), Myah, and Timmy Johns. Additional survivors include her loving pets Blue and Angel. Doris was preceded in death by her daughter Melinda M. Lukis and nephew D.J. Johns. Jack W. Leech, 94 of Glassport, formerly of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at his home. He was born in White Oak on June 19th, 1928, to the late Clifford and Zelda Mae (Kraus) Leech. Jack was the loving husband of over 50 years to the late Patricia A. (Leighty) Leech. He is survived by daughters Linda (Edward) Raimondi of Munhall and Kimberly (Tim) Toth of Munhall, as well as sisters Annabelle of Greensburg and Janet Davis of Dravosburg. Further survivors include grandchildren Frankie, Erin, Casey, and Ryan and great-grandchildren Jaiden, Payten, Leo, Briella, Lyndle, and Layton. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by son Leonard David Leech and daughter Lou Ann Leech. He was a member of the Army, having served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the American Legion. Jack was known to work diligently as a contractor and owned his own business for over 70 years. Jack was interested in horse racing, and enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially golf and handball. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. Wayne Carlyle Wilson, 82 of Baldwin, formerly of West Mifflin, Dravosburg, and Elizabeth Township, passed away on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, at Atria Senior Care. He was born in McKeesport on February 9, 1940, to the late Carlyle B. and P. Jeanne (Crawford) Wilson. He is survived by a sister Alice (Ralph) Jabara of San Tan Valley, AZ, and brothers Jerry Wilson of Dravosburg and Bill (Mary) Wilson of Jefferson Hills. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Marilyn “Sandy” Wilson, and nephew Robert J. Wilson. Wayne graduated from McKeesport High School in 1958 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1963 until 1965. He attained the rank of Sgt. E-5 in the signal corp. He was a retired operator for the Pittsburgh Regional Transit of Allegheny County (PaT) and a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Division 85 for over 50 years. He was also a life member of the Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department #1 and Clairton Sportsman Club.

Eleanor M. Duvall Linn

Eleanor M. Duvall Linn, 86, of White Oak, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love, on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital.

She was born August 9, 1936 in Monessen to the late Cassius and Elizabeth J. (Wallace) Duvall.

Eleanor was the devoted wife of the late Charles E. Linn Jr. who passed away in 2007.  She is survived by children, Kathy DeMarco of Glassport, Charles E. Linn III of White Oak, nephew, Michael Dorich of Trafford, who she raised as her own, grandchildren; Jason (Holly) DeMarco, Shannon (Ryan) Campbell, Angela (Donnie Rudberg) Linn, Jessica (Dave) Gross.  Great grandchildren; Ethan, Shane, Ryder, Izzy, Emma, Levi, Jackson, Zoey, & Lucy as well as nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by son; William R. (Bill) Linn of McKeesport; brother, James Duvall, sister, Rosemary Dorich, niece, Kim Dorich.

Eleanor was an active member of the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ in White Oak where she taught Sunday school for over 40 yrs. She helped with youth group, was a deaconess, and started a crochet/knitting group known as “Busy Hands” (jokingly referred to as “The Happy Hookers” by her daughter).  She was an avid reader and took books to the church for others to borrow, helped with the flea market, and essentially helped wherever needed.  Eleanor was a magnificent baker; always baking for others, especially family graduations and weddings.  She loved crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, Scrabble, and anything that exercised her brain and her vast vocabulary. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, and her loving spirit will live on in those whose lives she touched.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. Clyde L. Hennon Jr., 84 of Dravosburg, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at Squirrel Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. He was born in New Castle on November 20th, 1937, to the late Clyde Sr. and Julia E. Owrey Hennon. Clyde was the loving husband of 47 years to Norma Jean Thompson Hennon. He is survived by his wife Norma, their son Matt (Melissa Barker) Hennon of White Oak, brother Glenn (Charlene) Hennon of Glenrock, sister Karen (Loren) Greene of Indiana, PA, and grandchildren Lennox and Duke. He is further survived by multiple nieces and nephews. Clyde was preceded in death by brother Richard. He was a member of the United States Army and served during peacetime. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dravosburg and the First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport, as well as a member of the former Community Alliance Church in Elizabeth. Clyde enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as completing crossword puzzles. He was born in Greensburg, PA on November 3rd, 1929, to the late Benjamin and Margaret Lavalia Donofrio. William was the loving husband of many years to the late Josephine Rauso Donofrio. He is survived by his daughter, Elly (Donofrio) Matesig of Glassport, as well his granddaughter Stephany Durosko of Glassport. Further survivors include brothers Angelo (Patty) Donofrio of Glassport, Richard (Kim Barry) Donofrio of Elizabeth, and Arthur Donofrio of West Mifflin. He is additionally survived by sisters Elizabeth Bartko of California, Mary Ickiewicz of West Mifflin, Enise (William) Kostyzak of Glassport, Rose (David) Del Master of Florida, and Debbie Gobel of Georgia. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as his dog Bobo. William was preceded in death by his daughter Coreen Eremia, sister Christine Stillio, and brothers Robert and Perry Donofrio. Willy was a member of the Army during the Korean War, as well as a member of the American Legions in Dravosburg and Glassport. He enjoyed being self-employed- in his younger years, he could be found working at a fruit market, operating Donofrio’s Nursery, or spending time as part owner of McKeesport Inn. Melissa “Missy” Jordan Steiner, 35 of Clairton, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Thursday, September 15th, 2022. She was born in McKeesport on January 9th, 1987, to Robert and Barbara (Williams) Hough of Clairton. She is survived by her parents, as well as daughter Jordica and sons Jordan and Jaycesean “J.J.” Kenney of Clairton. Further survivors include brothers Matthew Hough of Glassport and John Balistrieri of Dravosburg and her sister Amber (Glenn) Tobias of Glassport. She is additionally survived by her loving nieces and nephews. She proudly attended Narcotics Anonymous meetings in order to be the best possible mother to her children. She enjoyed raising her children and watching them grow, and particularly loved the days they spent together at the park. She also enjoyed both playing and listening to music. Melissa will be deeply missed by her children, siblings, parents, and all who knew her. A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 2-4 PM at S.M. She was born in McKeesport on February 15th, 1959, to the late Samuel Sr. and Audrey Whyel Inks. Audrey was the loving wife of 42 years to Daniel J. Toth. She is survived by her husband Daniel J. Toth of Clairton, son Nathan D. Toth of Clairton, sisters Ruth Peterson of Clairton, Ramona (Perry) Ohm of Clairton, Tammy (Timothy) Garrity of Erie, brothers Carl (Joyce) Inks of Glassport, Samuel Inks Jr. of Jefferson, grandchild Liam Toth, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her two wonderful German shepherds Jesse and Ace. Audrey was preceded in death by her father Samuel Inks Sr., her mother Audrey Whyel Inks, her son Adam (Krystal) Toth, and her sister Linda Inks Alcorn. She was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed gardening and going out on the boat. Audrey was also keen at shopping and an avid animal lover. Clifford J. “Big Cliff” Warner, 74 of Jefferson Hills, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Thursday, September 1st, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family at his home. He was born in McKeesport on March 27th, 1948, to the late Clifford R. and Grace Zewe Warner. Clifford was the loving husband of 50 years to Sharon E. Humphrey Warner, who lovingly cared for him in sickness and in health. He is survived by his wife, as well as son Clifford R. (Elizabeth) Warner of Boston and daughter Alethea E. (Alfred) Filippelli of Bethel Park. Further survivors include his sister Evelyn (Mike) Shanley of West Mifflin and grandchildren Olivia, Lexie, Jakob, Lucca, and Lilly, as well as his loving cat Yodi. He was a sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and later worked as a Union Railroad signalman and Union Chairman for 36 years, sold insurance for A. L. Williams and American General, as well as a bus driver and monitor for Jefferson Hills School District. As the Union Chairman, he fought in Chicago for and obtained Wives’ Pension Eligibility. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen, an active member of the NRA, and was a God fearing Christian and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Monongahela. He was passionately involved in both local and state politics, taking a special interest in the Constitution’s Second Amendment rights. He loved spending summers with his family at their cabin, which was his favorite place to be. Clifford was an avid reader who felt passionately about pursuing knowledge. He was a great husband, father, brother, grandfather, and a friend to many, and he will be missed. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Advanced Home Care nurses and therapist as well as hospice nurse Debbie. They would also like to thank Jared Nolfi, Ed Donkin, Bob Nicklow, and friends at the bus garage. Special thanks to Tammy and Jamie, who worked with Clifford for 7 years, as well as Dr. Mitro from Davita Clinic. He is survived by longtime friend Virginia M. Olinski, as well as sons Robert (Tina) of Claxton, GA, and James Winterbottom of East McKeesport, and daughter Helen L. Korinko of McKeesport. Further survivors include 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 6 nephews, and his beloved dog Annie. He is also survived by his brother William Winterbottom of Turtle Creek. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Jordan as well as sisters Lavern and Cheryl Winterbottom. Denise Ann Mullineaux, 69 of McKeesport, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at her home. She was born in Vandergrift, PA, on July 23, 1953, to the late William H. and Geraldine Louise Plowman Mullineaux. She is survived by brothers David W. (Valerie) Mullineaux of Springfield, VA, and Douglas Mullineaux of West Mifflin, as well as sisters Dawn (Herb) Heid of Kissimmee, FL, and Deborah (William) Elliott of West Mifflin. Further survivors include nieces and nephews Cathy Heid, Nicole Heid, Jason Lippert, Dawn Lippert, Carl Elliott, and Stephen (Jiyun Lee) Elliott. Additional survivors include great nieces Cassidy Lippert, Allison Lippert, and Logan Elliott, and great nephew Holden Elliott. Denise was preceded in death by her niece Nicole Elliott. She was employed by Olan Mills in Pleasant Hills for 20 years, working in the delivery department. She enjoyed riding horses during her teenage years and found happiness in animals, especially dogs.
