Herman A. Haase, 89, of White Oak, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 22, 2019. He was born December 19, 1929 in Uniontown and was the son of the late Herman Haase, Jr, and the late Florence (Baker) Haase. Herman was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak where he was an Adult Sunday School Teacher for 40 years and also served on the church council and budget committee. He was a member of the Bell Pioneers, McKeesport Kiwanis Club and served on the board of directors of the Peter's Foundation. He was a life member and volunteer for the McKeesport Meals on Wheels. Herman was a retired business office manager for the former Bell of Pennsylvania in McKeesport and was a US Army Veteran.

Russell Julian Zoll, 55, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019. He was born April 24, 1964 in McKeesport and was the of the late Robert Charles and Audrey H. (Johnson) Zoll. He was a maintenance supervisor and was former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Russell loved locomotive and steam trains, and could tell you anything you could ever want to know on trains and their routes. He also enjoyed riding and fixing his street bike, and was always working on something. He loved all his nieces and nephews and picking on them unmercifully.

Charles J. "Jeff" Blawas, 56, of Jeannette, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born December 6, 1962 in Jeannette was the son of the late Joseph Henry and Anna Marie Lokay Blawas. Jeff was a US Marine Veteran, serving in the first Desert Storm and was also in the Marine reserves for 20 years. He worked as a plumber for Newco in Scottdale and also enjoyed woodworking, especially cabinets and cupboards. He enjoyed skeet shooting, and car racing, but most of all loved his family. Jeff loved family reunions and was known for being a trouble maker, especially with water balloons at the reunions.

He was born July 17, 1938 in Duquesne and was the son of the late Stephen and Irene (Serfozo) Szepesi. He was the loving husband of the late Joan (Savel) Szepesi, who passed away May 18, 2002. Robert was an active member of the Free Hungarian Reformed Church, McKeesport. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963 and was honorably discharged. He was a Draftsman and CAD designer for Dravo Corporation. After his retirement, Bob enjoyed reminiscing about classic cars, watching Penguins hockey and Pirates baseball, and working on projects at his daughters' houses.

He was born November 30, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Stephen "Peaches" and Helen (Lucza) Brkovich. He was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School where he played baseball and football and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in West Mifflin. Steve worked as a licensed mechanic and inspector for the former US Airways. He was a member of Our Lady, Queen of the Americas in Conneaut Lake and was a former member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Township. He was a 50 year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America and was a member of the International Association of Machinist Potomac Air Lodge # 1976. He was also a member of the former Boston Volunteer Fire Co, in Elizabeth Township. Steve serves as Democratic Committeeman for Summit Township, Conneaut Lake.
