Rosalyn Fryer, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born, November 4, 1944 in Watkins, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Chalkey) Konitsky. Prior to her retirement, Rosalyn was a cashier for K-mart and later Walmart. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fryer; brothers, Andrew and John Konitsky.

Audrey J. Evans, 95, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at Juniper Village Forest Hills. She was born March 8, 1925 in N. Braddock, a daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (Twigger) Delafield. Audrey was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church, was active in the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, and enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Bennett Evans; and half brother, Robert Delafield.

Rose Watson, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her home. She was born, May 1,1926 in Monroeville, a daughter of the late George Washington and Theresa (Mattern) Price. Prior to her retirement, Rose was a nurses aid for Jeannette Hospital and was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Larimer. Rose enjoyed reading, crocheting and needlepoint.

Jenna R. Maroadi, 34, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020. She was born September 8, 1986 in Jeannette, a daughter of William and Lynn (Smalley) Maroadi. Jenna was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School, Class of 2005 where she sang in the show choir and was a member of the Norwin Band. Jenna was a full-time student at Pitt Greensburg, majoring in psycology and minoring in Spanish and Music. She was vice president of the Spanish Club, Pier Leader at Pitt and made Dean's list for two years. She enjoyed singing and acting and sang in Young Frankenstein at Pitt Greensburg. Jenna was an avid Trump supporter and dog lover. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rose Maroadi. Jenna is survived by her daughter, Cassidy Vehar; brother, Anthony Maroadi and his fiancee, Christina; maternal grandmother, Carol Smalley; and paternal grandfather, Bill Maroadi; best friend and father of her daughter, Josh Vehar; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral service will take place on Thursday in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Irwin Union Cemetery. Lance E. Nelson, 54, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020. He was born July 17, 1966 in Jeannette, a son of the late Stanley and Betty (Morgan) Nelson. Lance was a systems analyst for UPMC and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School Class of 1984 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Cal U. He enjoyed hiking, reading and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua David Nelson; brother-in-law, Drew Horwat. Frank J. Visocky died on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his Redstone Highlands residence in North Huntingdon, PA. Frank was born on November 27, 1917 in Connellsville, PA and was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Anastasia (Skero) Visocky; son-in-law, Daniel Kovac; Father and Mother, Michael and Anna Visocky, as well as all of his brothers and sisters.
Frank is survived by his son, Edward Visocky (Denise) of Valley Center CA; daughters, Janet Kovac of Greensburg, PA and Catherine (Robert) Tokar of Lakewood Ranch FL; grandchildren, Jena (Andy) Whipkey of Cranberry PA, Danielle (Scott) Lang of Irwin PA, Jacob (Nicole) Kovac of Acme PA, and Corey Tokar of Orlando, FL as well as five great grandchildren (Hannah, Mason, Xavier, Aaron, and Luke).

Alexander J. "Jake" Sulesky, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home. He was born May 22, 1935 in McKeesport, a son of the late Alexander and Anna (Strager) Sulesky. Prior to his retirement, Jake was a technician for Bell Telephone and was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Sulesky.

Our beloved mother, Arvilla Mae Johnson was born September 22, 1926 and through her almost 94 years, she has been a Godly mentor to not only her children but everyone she met. On September 15, 2020 she went to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Daughter of James and Florence Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Frank Johnson Jr.; brothers, James Williams Jr., Richard Williams, Robert Williams; sister, Sara (Betty) Johnson and Mary Ann Henderson. Surviving are her children, Frank (Carolyn) Johnson III, Paul (Rebecca) Johnson, Carol (Donald) Hart; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Friedline. Friends will be received from 10-11:30 a.m. on Monday at the Open Door Baptist Church, 970 N. Main Street, Greensburg, with a funeral service to follow. Helen McGrew of N. Huntingdon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was born in McKeesport, preceded in death by her husband, Findley McGrew. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Helen was a homemaker and was known in the family as “the best cookie baker ever”! More than anything, she cherished her family. She enjoyed doing volunteer work for the Norwin YMCA in her 70’s. She was also a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Boystown. She loved working in her huge yard and maintaining it all by herself up until the age of 82. She mowed the lawn and did all the shrubbery trimming.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Raymond) Dirjan, Donna (Gus) Bricker and Shirley Hindman; five grandsons, Christopher (Amy) Findura, Gregory (Stephanie) McCullough, Robert (Tara) Hindman, Richard (Kelly) Hindman, and Anthony (Kristin) Dirjan. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Sarah M. Blystone, 93, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon. She was born July 7, 1927 in Turtle Creek, a daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Urias) Lyons. Sarah was a circuit board operator for Switch & Signal Electronics and later retired from Femco. She enjoyed dancing and traveling with her husband, Bill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William H. Blystone; brothers, Melvin (Esther), Lauren (Emma), Lawrence (Dolores) Lyons; and sister, Myra (Paul) Weschitz.

Robert "Robbie" J. Dingeldein, 30, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was born August 3, 1990 in Pittsburgh, a son of Robert and Leslie (DeFalco) Dingeldein. Robbie was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of 2008 where he played soccer. He was a machinist for Kiczan Manufacturing and enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes and spending time outdoors with his sons. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David DeFalco; and paternal grandfather, Roy Dingeldein.
