Robert E. Locke, 90, of Jeannette, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Excela Health Westmoreland. He was born January 24, 1926 in Wilmerding, Pa., a son of the late Elmer and Mary Edith Attig Locke. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation with 40 years of service and was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy where he served as a member of the band. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon where he was active in the music ministry, Men's Club, Extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, Pro-Life Committee, past president of the Emerald Club and Knights of Columbus Council 1222 Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alverna Bost Locke. He is survived by his son, Richard F. Locke and his wife, Mary Lou; daughter, Stephanie M. Sunder and her husband, Barry; four grandchildren, Richard E. and Katie Lou Locke, Makaila and Noah R. Sunder, grand dog Nellie. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Daniel Gilmour age 60 of East Pittsburgh, formerly of North Huntingdon, died January 19, 2017 at his home. Born May 18, 1956 in Mckeesport, son of the late Daniel C.
