Larry R. Nelson, age 66, of McKeesport, died January 8, 2021, at home. Born October 10, 1954, in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late James and Pearl (Baker) Nelson and the husband of Diana Diaz-Nelson.
Larry was retired from AT & T, where he worked in I.O.C., international customer service. He enjoyed collecting action figures and customizing action figures. He cared.

Edmund Chiaverini, age 97, of McKeesport, died January 12, 2021. Born January 1, 1924, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Ferry) Chiaverini and the husband of the late Elizabeth A. (DeFelice) Chiaverini.
Edmund was retired from US Steel, where he was a maintenance supervisor. Edmund was a WWll US Army veteran and served in Central Burma as part of the 3150th Signal Service Company. A member of the Mary Mother of God Parish, Edmund had a deep love of major league baseball, the New York Yankees, and watching old reruns of Columbo and Gunsmoke.

Eisele, Jr., age 61, of McKeesport, formerly of North Versailles, died January 7, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport.  Born February 12, 1959, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John Sr. and Mary JoAnn (Hennessey) Eisele, and the beloved husband of Pam (Humphries Stanich) Eisele for 25 years.  John was a mechanic at area car dealerships before opening his own garage in North Versailles.  He was loved and respected by his customers for being an honest and knowledgeable mechanic.

Rivera, age 66, of Verona, died on January 4, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  Born February 25, 1954, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Lydia (Willis) Rivera-Turner and the late Raymon Rivera, and the loving husband of Beverly (Parsee) Rivera.  Wilson worked as a Supervisor of Maintenance at Wesley Family Services for over 25 years.  He loved old music and German Shepherd dogs but was especially fond of antique cars.  He took great pride in cleaning and detailing his antique 1988 Mazda.

Alfred retired from Bill Fiore Trucking, where he was a truck driver. He was also a volunteer at the former Industry, PA Volunteer Fire Department, where he was the fire chief. Alfred enjoyed woodworking, puzzles, fishing, and hunting in his early years.

Velia Duncan Hoffman, age 94, of McKeesport, died December 26, 2020, at Canterbury Place of Lawrenceville. Born September 23, 1926, in Moore, TX, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Clara (Saldaña) Duncan and the wife of the late Paul "Tex" Hoffman for 42 years.

Veila retired from the former G.C. Murphy Company, where she was a floor supervisor. After retirement, she sold newspapers on the corner of 5th Ave. and Sinclair St. Veila loved meeting and greeting the folks of McKeesport. Velia graduated High School class of 1944, in Moore, TX as the Salutatorian. She will always be remembered for her kindness and love of family.

Rosemary Blaha, age 72, of Port Vue, passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2020, at Jefferson Hospital. Born January 13, 1948, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marcella (Skiffington) Goodfellow and the beloved wife of Jack Blaha for 55 years.

Rosemary worked many places throughout her life, including McKeesport Hospital, Pool City, and as a special needs bus monitor for South Allegheny School District (PA Coach Lines). She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church. Rosemary loved being a softball mom aka Mrs. B to so many. Rosemary was a 1965 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and earned an Associates Degree from the New York Institute of Photography. She continued showing her passion by creating memories through many photo albums which she shared with family and friends. Rosemary enjoyed family vacations to Deep Creek, MD and Myrtle Beach, SC. Her greatest gift in life was the love and devotion she showed to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Janet retired as a bookkeeper and then cared for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church for over 40 years, where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and was active with the Women's Club. Janet enjoyed traveling and the most important thing in the world was her grandchildren's happiness.

He volunteered at the Chain of Hope of Pittsburgh, where he was a cook and always there to lend a hand.
