Shirley A. Holsing, 85, of Elizabeth Twp, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. She was born June 4, 1938 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Emil and Sarah Ann (Weaver) Beyer. She was the late Marvin Harry Holsing, who passed away November 8, 2018. She worked at the former GC Murphy Warehouse, and would then become a homemaker. Shirley and her family lived in Hancock, Maine for a time and she really cherished her time there and loved to walk the beach with her husband and family collecting seashells. She also enjoyed looking at shopping catalogs. She will be greatly missed.

Chuck was born December 13, 1949, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Dorothy Hartman Beno and Bill Beno. He is survived by his devoted partner, Christine Dobies Gibson, his sole mate and landscaping sidekick. His two daughters, Amy (Gary) Pritchard and Lori Beth Beno, and three grandchildren, Emma, Gary, and Jake Pritchard. Alice R. Pierce, 94, of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport, died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 at home. Roberta was affectionately known as "Aunt Bert" to many. She worked at Balsamo's and Cray Brothers in McKeesport for several years before retiring from Rite Aid in Glassport. Born in McKeesport, August 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Agatha Pierce. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, with whom she resided and was cared for, Margaret "Peg" and Angelo Norelli of Glassport; nieces and caregivers, goddaughter Angela Hart of Port Vue and Jennifer (Dennis) Norelli-Burke of Glassport; great nieces and nephews, who helped care for her, Kassady and Mackenzie Burke and Angelo (AJ) Hart; sister, Mary (the late Jack) Price in Louisiana; and other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bill (Pat), James "Skip" (Ellen), Raymond "Fu" (Marge) and Clyde "Bud" Pierce. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 641 Vermont Ave., Glassport. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am by the Rev. Bruce Stallings. Interment will be in the McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.

He retired after more than 42 years as a project superintendent for CEC Environmental Consultants in Moon Twp. He enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, and hanging out with his dog Cash. William “Bill” James Dudik, 87, of McKeesport, PA died on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh after a sudden illness.
He was born in McKeesport on August 5, 1936 and was the son of the late Mike Dudik and Julia (Vojnyik) Dudik.
He was a 1954 graduate of McKeesport High School, then served in the US Air Force. Bill went on to receive a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology from The University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1976.
Bill was a proprietor of a wholesale goods importing company, owned a sewing machine sales and repair shop, then also worked in sales at Tom Clark’s Used Autos. He was certified and elected as a Constable and also worked as a security guard. Bill was a life-long avid collector and seller of vintage and antique items.

Alberta Geraldine (DiFalco) Julian, age 89 of Pleasant Hills and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Jefferson Hospital. Born November 5, 1934 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (DaBaldo) DiFalco. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Alberta was a member of the mothers club of the former St. Clare of Assisi Parish, a volunteer at St. Clare Convent, and a former Democratic Committeewoman. She also enjoyed her many trips to New York City. Besides her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony James Julian, who passed away October 29, 2021, and her siblings: Joseph DiFalco, Anna Pastore, and Ellen Julian. She is survived by her children Thomas Julian of Pittsburgh and Barbara (Joe) Mills of West Mifflin; and also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
