William “Bill” J. Forbes, age 71, formerly of Ruffsdale, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 27, 2023, with his wife of nearly 51 years by his side at Transitions Healthcare in North Huntingdon. Born in McKeesport to the late Cletus Forbes and Grace Burchell, Bill was one of three children. Bill is a graduate of Norwin High School and would eventually further his career by becoming a civil engineer and retiring as owner of Forbes Consulting. Bill’s love for his family was evident to those around him and he was known for being a proud and loyal husband and father. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, playing guitar, gun smithing, and lived to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. Bill’s close friends, like Mike (Suzi) Trimboli, were held very near and dear to his heart and his appreciation for them should not be forgotten.

William “Bill” J. Doyle Jr., age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of North Versailles, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was born December 22, 1929 in Philadelphia, a son of the late William and Helen Doyle. Bill was a career Navy veteran Lieutenant Commander with 22 years of service. He then went on to teach NJROTC and history at McKeesport High School for 20 years before retiring. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of over 58 years Elizabeth “Betty” Doyle; one grandson Andy Beck; brother Frank Doyle; and sisters Helen Gunning, Johanna Hudson and Katherine Tansky. He is survived by sister Frances McGee and brothers Christopher (Cass) Doyle and Robert Doyle and his children Mary Ellen Pellegrino of Ross Township, William J. Doyle III of Linton, Indiana, JoAnn Doyle of Alameda, California, Margaret (Bob) Clay of West Mifflin and Terese (Bill) Beck of Mt. Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, who call him "Pop Pop the Great", and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Doris Jean (Snyder) Poff, 94, of Greensburg, formerly of White Oak, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born September 17, 1928 and was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Luthey) Snyder. Doris was a retired banker with the former McKeesport National Bank, former Equibank, former National City Bank in White Oak. She is survived by her son, Mark (Cathy) Poff of Penn Twp.; and granddaughter whom she absolutely adored, Laruen Nicole Poff. She is also survived by a nephew, nieces and great nieces and nephews. Doris is also survived by her grand dog, Cody and great-grand dogs, Twink and Lexi. She loved those dogs dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Poff; brothers, John, Harry and Ralph Snyder; and sisters, Anna (Snyder) Steele, Elverna (Snyder) Kegler and Lois Snyder. On July 30, 2023, Dennis Damico, a much loved brother and uncle passed away in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born December 15, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Although he was never married, he was actively involved in the lives of our family. A hard worker in everything he did; at the post office, in refurbishing his farm house and pretty much where ever help was needed. He loved baseball and he was an avid collector of toys, probably because he was still a kid at heart. He was known for his great sense of humor and his quick wit. He loved the Lord and prayed for us daily and he was an integral part of his church, Covenant Church East of Greensburg. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Settina (Iezzi), and his sister Linda Damico. He is survived by his brother Nicholas, sister–in-law Carol and 2 nephews, Benjamin and Gabriel Damico. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, August 7th at the James Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. 15642. James Lee Cline, age 66, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully, at home, on August 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. James, affectionately known as “C-Mo” to his many friends, was born to Walter P. and Ruth E. (Mullen) Cline, on March 13, 1957, in Homestead, PA. He graduated from West Mifflin Area North High School in 1976, where he was a member of the wrestling team. Jamie was inducted into the West Mifflin Sports Hall of Fame in 2023 in recognition of his contribution to the team’s 1973 undefeated season. Jamie worked in the construction field for over 40 years and retired in 2019 from Allegheny Construction Company, where he served as construction superintendent.
“C-Mo” was a loving father and faithful friend. He was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a passion for cooking (especially grilling), entertaining, telling jokes, spending time at camp on the Mon River and riding his motorcycle.
James is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Trudy Wujcik; three children, Kayla, Colin and Maiti Cline and their mother, Laurie (Gabrielcik) Cline; siblings, Thelma Archer, Timothy Cline, Maggie Lockovich and Mark Cline; 9 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruth Cline; a stepmother, Germaine Cline; and siblings Walter (Butch) Cline, Michael Cline and Mary Cline.
Family and friends will be received at St. Agnes Church, 653 St. Agnes Lane, West Mifflin, on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 12-1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at the Church. A Celebration of Life will be held after Mass in the Church social hall. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support over the last few months. Richard H. Lapinski, age 73, of Rostraver Twp., formerly of South Plainfield, NJ, and Bethel Park, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at home. He attended Rehoboth Presbyterian Church in Rostraver Twp. He was a pitcher for Bethel Park High School from 1966-67, played American Legion baseball, and was scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a communications technician at Alcatel-Lucent and after he retired, was a consultant for CBM of America. He had various collections including antique radios, cameras, clocks and watches, and he restored several antique cars. He was an avid musician and played the guitar, piano and various other instruments. When he lived in New Jersey, he enjoyed boating in Barnegat Bay. Born August 27, 1949 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Stanley and Dolores (Tamburi) Lapinski Green. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane (Helman) Lapinski; son, Richard A. Lapinski of Rostraver Twp.; stepmother, Gaye Lapinski of Huntersville, NC; siblings, Russell (Katie) Lapinski of Danbury, NC, Robert (Lori) Lapinski of Hygiene, CO and Tina (George) Duvall of Denver, NC; aunt, Betty Johnson of Baldwin; also, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert W. Keller, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born June 9, 1945 in Braddock, a son of the late David and Kathryn Eileen (Topper) Keller. Bob was a heavy equipment mechanic for US Steel for 20 years and later retired from Beckwith/Cleveland Bros. with 21 years of service. He was a graduate of West Mifflin High School and received his associate degree from Vale Tech. He was a journeyman for heavy equipment, lifetime member of the VFW Post 781 North Huntingdon, and a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John and David Keller. He is survived by his wife, Julia (Popovich) Keller; son, Robert Keller and his wife, Cathy; daughter; five grandchildren; two loving nieces, Lindsay Olsek (Matt) and Ashley Calcagno (Dustin); and his puppy, Rusty. Beryl "Louise" Lindberg Benson, 92 of North Huntingdon died July 29, 2023 at her home. She was born December 28, 1930 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Edith Hackett Mains. Prior to her retirement, Louise was the owner of Liberty Precision Tooling and was later employed by Macys as a Lancome Representative with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Westmoreland City Methodist Church, enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching television. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Benson in 2004, a son Charles Lindberg Jr., a daughter Cheryl Lotz, a sister Patricia Rusnock.
