John D. Baldwin Jr., age 78, of Duquesne, passed away on July 28, 2023. Born in McKeesport on September 12, 1944, he was the son of the late John D. Baldwin Sr. and late Gwendolyn (Davis) Baldwin. He was a custodian for Highland Dr. Veterans Administration Hospital. John was the husband of the late Yvonne (Lehnert) Baldwin and is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Rechendorff of Duquesne. Private service and committal will be held at the McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery. Marlene A. Schelinski, age 83, from Turtle Creek, died July 13, 2023, at the Squirrel Hill Wellness & Rehabilitation Center . Born July 23, 1939 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Frank and Alberta Massung.
Marlene was one of the first female bartenders and also worked in retail jewelry sales.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with the children and grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by daughters, Sharon Schlenski and Pam Wakefield and son, Paul Schelinski.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Renzie Park in pavilion one at 4 p.m. Luncheon will follow with celebration until 8 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.

George B. Spahr, Jr. age 87, of White Oak, died July 23, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 5, 1936, in Homestead, he was the son of the late George B. and Kathryn (King) Spahr Sr. and the husband of Nora L. (Miller) Spahr.
George retired as a mechanic at Bob Massie Toyota. After retirement, he continued to work for #1 Cochran Automotive Group transporting cars to other dealerships. George loved cars and was known to be "always on the go." He was a member of the Sampson Mills Presbyterian Church.
George is survived by his son, Russ Spahr of Rostraver; grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Wesley, and Aaron; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Lee Martin and Elaine Leech of Florida; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Spahr, and daughter, Sue Rugg.

Donna Maxwell Westcoat, 85, of North Huntingdon passed away at home on Monday, July 24, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 9, 1937 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Graydon & Ethel Maxwell. After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1955, she went on to study Education at Edinboro Teachers College. Donna loved being a 6th grade teacher in the McKeesport school district in her younger days and she also did some tutoring and substitute teaching throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 27 years Fred Westcoat; sister Brenda Hoffman (Ralph); children Robin Toops (Jeffery) and Darren Hensel (Bren); step-children Scott Westcoat (Kathy), Warren Westcoat (Eve) and Ellen Jordan (Michael); her cherished grandchildren Max, Seth, Lyla, Joanie, Maddie, Trevor, Ashley, Catherine and Craig; and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Lawrence “Larry” P. Connors, age 88, of Irwin, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born October 6, 1934 in Helena, Montana, the son of the late Lawrence A. and Doris M. Connors. Upon graduating from Gonzaga University with a degree in chemical engineering, Larry was hired by Westinghouse in Pittsburgh. He continued his education at Carnegie Tech where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. He worked as an engineer his whole career. Larry loved traveling, cooking, and reading about history. His lifelong love of learning continued at the University of Pittsburgh in retirement.

Joseph Robert “Bob” Sholder, 73, of North Huntingdon, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was born October 12, 1949 in Turtle Creek, a son of the late Lawrence and Violet (Caldarelli) Sholder. Bob was a Navy veteran, retired from Union Railroad, Pittsburgh, and he was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Betty (Peluso) Sholder; children Michelle (Jim) Klingensmith of South Park, and Brian (Karen) Sholder of South Park; grandchildren Samantha and Conner Klingensmith, and Joshua and Alyssa Sholder. Genevieve S. Yuna, age 100, of North Versailles, died July 24, 2023, at Walden's View of North Huntingdon. Born June 27, 1923, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Wasil and Anna (Misczycha) Smolinsky and wife of the late Andrew Yuna. Genevieve worked in the home office for the G.C. Murphy Company for over 40 years. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and also a "pirohi pincher." Genevieve loved all Pittsburgh sports, was a season ticket holder for the Steelers, and attended three Super Bowls. She had a passion for bingo, and casinos were a close second. Genevieve always felt very blessed and was a lucky lady.

Michael James “Mike” Gouker, 46 of West Mifflin, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on July 8, 1977 to the late Kenneth Gouker and the surviving Deborah (Boyd Gouker) Gecan. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Beth Boyles Gouker, mother Deborah (Boyd Gouker) Gecan, step-father Dale Gecan, children Jacob and Emma Gouker of Glassport, brother Brian Gouker, of South Carolina, niece Kayla Gouker, of South Carolina, aunt Beverly Gouker, of Elizabeth, uncle Harold Gouker, of Elizabeth, in-laws James and Glenna Boyles, of Indianapolis, Indiana, best friend and adopted brother, Chadd Augustine, of West Mifflin, and his loving cats, Bear, Shadow, Dexter and Cash. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Gouker, and grandmother Margaret Boyd. He was a member of the 46 Club in Wilson, as well as Wilson Presbyterian Church, and was employed in the deli at Shop n’ Save in Century square. Mike was a man that loved his family and he enjoyed going to dances with his daughter, going fishing with his son, and was an avid fan of wrestling. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M.
