Geraldine (Gerry) L. Charmo, 92, of W. Homestead, PA passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Charmo of Duquesne and her sister Margaret and brother Bob. Gerry enjoyed life and participated in many women's organizations such as the Red Hat Ladies, Duquesne Women's Club and served as an officer of the Christian Mothers of Holy Trinity Church. Gerry is survived by her nephews and nieces: Ron and Carol, Bob and Susan, Margie and Dave, Cyndy and Anita, Tim and Debra and Joyce as well as great nephews and nieces.

Elvira F. Maglicco, 97, of N. Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. She was born October 3, 1925 in Dunbar, a daughter of the late John and Jennie (Picchoni) Crocetti. Prior to her retirement, Elvira was a sales clerk for Cox's children’s department. She was a member of Mary Mother of God, Christy Park and enjoyed cooking, baking and housekeeping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; son, John Wayne; brothers, Angelo and Emideo; sisters, Theresa Jaworski and Virginia Gasbarro. She is survived by her son, Anthony and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Joanna Graham and her husband, Mark; brother, John (Karen), Anthony (Mary Ann); sisters, Eleanor Hoyng; Geraldine (Patrick) Corrado, Loretta Perri, Eugenia (Bob) Horwatt; daughter-in-law, Kathy Maglicco; grandchildren, Anthony (Robin) Maglicco III, Amber (Jay) Richards, Dawn (Dennis) Deitch, Keith Maglicco, Michael (Allie) Maglicco and Karrie (Don) Thomas; 4 great-grandchildren. He retired from the boiler shop at U.S. Steel Clairton Works after 42 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran during the cold war. He attended Round Hill Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp. and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Born September 16, 1936, in Elizabeth Twp., he was a son of the late John B. Puckey, Sr. and Lillian F. (Russell) Puckey and husband of the late Blanche F. (Aldridge) Puckey. He is survived by son, James C. San Juana "Juanita" Chuba, 76 of West Mifflin passed away on Saturday June 3, 2023.  She was born in Tampico, Mexico in 1947 and came to America at the age of 5.  She is the daughter of the late Andrea (Larraga) and Selicio Gutierrez and separated wife/friend of Michael J. Chuba.  She was the loving and devoted mother "Mama Juanita" to four children, her daughters, Deanna (Frank) DiPaolo, Alena (Tom) Grace; her sons Michael (Keely) Chuba and Tony (Amy) Chuba.  To her grandchildren, she was "Granny Neenee"; to Marla and Elisabeth DiPaolo, Gordon Grace, Juliana and Nathan Chuba, Tony Jr., Benjamin, Abigail and Hailey Chuba and great grandmother to August DiPaolo.  She was preceded in death by her brother Raul "Ralph" Gutierrez.  She is survived by her sisters Bertha Villa and Concha Gutierrez and many friends, nieces, nephews and neighbors who will miss her dearly.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pa after raising her children.  Early in her career she worked as a social worker and later in life as a waitress.  Juanita's main job was loving and caring for her kids and doting over her grandchildren every chance she had.  She was an avid Steeler fan sporting the gear almost daily.  She enjoyed watching cooking shows, old movies and donating her famous enchiladas to local events in the community, family and friends.

He was born in McKeesport on February 19th 1948 to the late Ralph J Helman Sr. and Irene Lomis Helman. Ralph was the loving husband of 53 years to Gloria J. Helman. He is survived by his wife Gloria Helman of Clairton, his son Christopher (Lorie) Helman of Dravosburg, daughter Christina Ray of Port St. Lucie of Florida, brothers Gary (Georgann) Helman of Baldwin, Dennis Helman of Clairton, sisters Diane (Rick) Lapinski of Rostraver, Debbie (Tom) Caley of Jefferson, Barb (Mark) Yantek of Collegeville, Cathy (Ed) Demchak of Clairton, grandchildren Abriana, Connor, Zachary, Kylee, Austin, and many nieces and nephews and his dog Loki. Ralph was a member of the Clairton Presbyterian Church and the Elizabeth Boat Club as well as the Greene Cove Yacht Club. He enjoyed spending days out on the boat and making memories with his grandchildren. He worked as a Lithographer for Hoechstetter Printing. She was born in Revloc, PA, on March 6, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Venturino and Monica (Loretta) Candelore. She was the wife to the late Thomas Camille Renckly before his passing in 1981. Lena worked many jobs; from a Manager at Zayre's years ago, to waitressing and collecting the 'green fees' at Butlers Golf Course, to retiring from Jefferson Hospital as a waitress in the gift shop snack bar. She lived a quiet life. She cherished visits with her siblings over the years, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and eventually loved to be with her great-grandchildren too.

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Trepanowski, 96, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. Born on November 12, 1926, she was the eldest of the nine children of the late John and Mary (Faron) Kovalyak. Betty was a member of Ascension Church in Clairton. She graduated from Clairton High School and worked at the A & P Supermarket in Clairton and in the South Allegheny School District cafeteria system. She married the love of her life, John F. Trepanowski, Jr. in 1956.  Unfortunately, he was taken from us too early, in 1965. Her favorite things to do were spending time with family, enjoying good food, visiting casinos, and playing bingo and Pokeno.

On Saturday May 27, 2023, Denise D. (North) Anderson, 70, of North Huntingdon passed away at the home of her son due to the devastating effects of ALS.

She was born on May 30, 1952 in Brownsville, PA. A daughter of the late Kenneth Gerald and Catherine Anderson, she had been a registered nurse at Westmoreland Hospital prior to retirement. She was predeceased by her mother Betty Lou Anderson in 1952; grandson, Chandler Aaron Heltebran in 1996, and her daughter-in-law Jessica Lynn North in 2016.

She is survived by her son, Aaron North of North Huntingdon; daughters Christy Heltebran (Sonny) of Irwin and Danielle North of Arona; adoptive daughter and friend Linda Shaw of Irwin. She was the beloved Gaga to Cameron, Megan and Natalie Heltebran  Emma and Lilah North  Deric and Samuel Amicone. Siblings Jerry, Gregory, Beth, Todd, Troy, Amy and Jason.
